I wanted to report my experience of attempting to book a room here. (I didn't originally want to stay here but the places I did want were full for the night I needed.) First of all, the reservation system on the Farrington's Web site didn't work. So I called the inn around 6 pm on a Friday. The guy who...

Had a chat today at work about Boston, so I thought I'd check out the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, ever, on Tripadvisor. We stayed there in 2001, I can't believe it's still open! We were unfortunate enough to hit Boston at Harvard Graduation, so this was all that was left. It was a disgusting, smelly, dirty, horrible place....

This place realized a nightmarish scenario: we (three of us) got to Boston around 6:00 am on Sat., June 9th. We asked for a room for 3 people and were quoted a price of $85 for a night's stay which we agreed to. We were clear about our expectation that we're paying for a night's stay there (despite the checkout...

I have travelled all over the world and this has to go down as the worse place I have ever stayed in my life. I know it is cheap (although for a bit more we got a decent hotel on our last night), so you pay for what you get, but this was truly awful. After travelling for 15 hours...

My roommate and I are photography students and wanted to travel to Boston from Philly to take pictures of the city. We are of course on a budget being students and all. I have traveled all over Europe and have stayed in hostels, so I looked on [--]. I found this place. I called the Inn and booked for me...

My friend and I "stayed" at this "hotel" for one night only. In summary: 1. Semen stains all over the bedsheets 2. Dirty unwashed room in general with decrepit furniture 3. Neighbours (possibly down-n-outs/ex cons) smoking dope ALL night long to the point where ourselves and all our stuff smelt of marijuana for the next few days 4. disgusting bathroom...

Um... well you wanted cheap, right? This is about as low as they go in Boston, can't complain about the price per se... it's just that even for a low price... couldn't they at least change the sheets? My sheets still had pizza smeared on the corner from the last guest... and a few decorative cigarette holes and subtle grease...

Staying at the Farrington was the most fun experience I've had at a hotel in a long time! Each night, I wondered wether I would wake up the next morning or not. Upon entering the Farrington Inn, I was a little alarmed to find that Norman Bates was not only alive, but was still managing small inns to the general...

Please DON'T stay at Farrington Inn, it is a worst hotel ever. I spent 4 night at this hotel, and felt very terrible. I wanted to save money since it seem the cheapest hotel in Boston area, I spent $80/night but the quality is very bad. The place is so dirty, the room is not clean and so dusty. The...

I could write pages upon pages about this "hotel"...but I won´t! Instead I will just stick to the point! All of the bad reviews concerning this "hotel" are totally correct. The good reviews must have been written by either the owners or some very very strange people. This is not a hotel. This makes a regular hostel seem like a...
