If you want a great location for a place to stay, this is it. Close to the waterfront and downtown, we we also reasonably close to food outlets and the renowned Faneuil Hall.
All in all a very good experience. The only hiccup was organising...More

Thank you for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed our location. Yes, furnished apartment living is a bit more independent where we provide a starter pack of coffee, soap, shampoo, etc. with the expectation that will last until the resident has had time to...More
Oakwood is an apartment block where I guess most residents are longer term but they have some short-term rentals - in our case a week. Our 4th floor apartment had a spacious lounge/kitchen/dining room (with all appliances) and a decent size bedroom (king-size bed) and...More

Thank you for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. As you noted, staying a serviced apartment is a little different than staying in a hotel. Thanks again and we hope to see you at Oakwood again soon.

Thanks so much for staying with us and for the kind review. So glad you enjoyed it and we hope that you will stay with us again the next time you are in Boston.
I pre-paid for my stay at this location, e-signed my short term "lease" paperwork for the 5 nights I was going to stay there. I arrived around 5:30pm on Saturday night and was greeted by the night security. The hotel entrance/lobby is pretty gross, not...More

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. I assure you that this is not typical and that we are addressing the errors that lead to this so that something like this does not happen again. If you can contact the Oakwood Boston office I...More
I travelled here for work. I only needed to call upon the staff for two things. One - I needed something printed so I went down the night before to speak to the concierge. I was told they could not print it for me. Their...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

Hi there, I recall they provide soap, shampoo and towels, not toothpaste. And probably not enough for the whole stay, as mentioned before. We had washing and drying machine in our apartment, so we only bought laundry powder. You must clean the appartment unless you want to pay extra for these services. I hope you enjoy your stay. Cheers.

There is a small grocery store just across the street. Walgreens and CVS are just a few blocks away in the downtown. There is also a huge Roche Bros in the downtown area where you get literally everything.
