Great location, beautiful room and fabulous brownstone. We stayed for 3 nights and just loved our stay. I lived in the South End for a couple of years and enjoyed finding new restaurants and shops that have sprung up. This B&B is close to the T, Copley Square and all of Boston.

The Union Park Guest house was simply amazing. Before we left for Boston, I had questions about our reservation. When I called, they were very helpful and gave us easy instructions about our arrival. He even suggested that we download Uber for getting around, because cabs often times have trouble finding the house (he was right!). We arrived on Wednesday...

I stayed here for five nights because of a postgraduate education course. Good comfortable moderne room and bathroom. Good possibility to warm your meal from a foodstore in case you do not want to go to a restaurant every day. Good working WiFi. Charming piecefull neighbourhood with good foodstores and restaurants. A good place of your own to enjoy and...

Simple magical. From the beautiful park, amazing city views and old world charm, this B&B provides everything you want in city accommodations and convenience. The home is located within blocks of several amazing restaurants and quaint coffee shops. It is also walking distance to the Newbury street shopping and Boston Common. I was in town for both work and play...

We stayed over Boston marathon weekend. The location was perfect. So easy to jump on the Silver Line and get to any T train line in less than 15 minutes. The room is updated with climate control, beautiful shower and claw foot tub. It was a little hike to the 4th floor, but the view of the neighborhood is worth...

We shopped around a bit and worked out exactly where we wanted to be and couldn't be happier with the location of this property, Tremont Street is really vibrant with lots of restaurants, shops cafés and bars (all fairly pricey). The Guest House was fine for a bed for a few nights. As others have said not having any contact...

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. We have just re-opened for the 2014 season and have made many improvements in the off-season. There is new staff on-site who are available for longer hours. Table and chairs have been added to the king deluxe guest rooms which also now have in-room Nespresso coffee machines. New mattresses or mattress pads have been...

The guest house is jaw-dropping in terms of the decor of this old "brownstone" type of residence. Chandeliers and old wood banisters and moulding. It is in a great location and is within walking distance of downtown, and not too far from the T. However, don't expect breakfast as there is only coffee provided. We stayed in the "blue room",...

Pros: The booking process and pre arrival contact was efficient and professional. Although this was the only North American/Canadian accommodation that required a 50% deposit at the time of booking, no other establishment required a deposit at all. Location is good/very good. The property has been reasonably tastefully restored; the guest parlours are very pleasant. Cleanliness is generally good. The...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
