Our third visit to Boston - first stay here. So how was it? Location good, although didn't feel that safe at night. Strange entrance as the front desk is small and large bar area. Lot's of doormen. The 2 girls that sit near the door hardly left their chairs, one was glued to her computer the other chatted to her....

Recently stayed here for the first time, on business. I'm a Starwood member and this is a really lovely W property. The lobby is nice, the bar is big and airy. My room was quite fabulous - was in a corner room with lots of windows. The layout reminds me of the SRS in LA a lot - a big,...

We had a wonderful stay at W Boston Hotel in july 2015. Me, my husband and my 7 year old son went to a U2 concert at TD Garden and the hotel was the best part of our trip. At the check in, Danielle welcomed us with "welcome drinks" and a little toy for my kid. The hotel is near...

Nice hotel. It has many amenities and is close to financial center. King rooms were spacious with nice beds. Bar scene was decent with loud music, really loud music. I have been staying here alternating Starwood properties, and I like it. Just be prepared to pay premium prices.

The staff, from the door man to the wait staff were so welcoming. My room was more beautiful than I expected. I sunk into the bed and slept like a baby. Didn't want to get up. Very nice view of downtown Boston. The dining area was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I will stay at this facility again...

Very comfortable 2 nights. Location was central and close to shopping, financial district, and the subway. Room was good size and very nice. Staff courteous and I was looked after very well. Would definitely return.

Overall, extremely pleased with our stay at the W Boston. The location was perfect for what we wanted to on our short 2 night stay. It is in the heart of the financial/theater district but just a cab ride away from most of what Boston has to offer. Our hotel was conveniently located right across the street from the show...

We stayed for a weekend in November. If you're into the club scene this is the place to stay. Great location. Easy to get to everything. The hotel is clean Modern and sleek. Don't stay here if you like quiet, traditional hotels. Pet friendly too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service was also good.

Enjoyed this hotel. Most importantly and surprisingly it is a relatively quiet hotel and if noise bothers you they provide ear plugs. The bed was very comfortable and the room a decent size for a W Hotel. W's seem to be a bit past their prime in a lot of places but it's still a stylish hotel with great music...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
