I was in the Clarendon for 9 nights. I was very happy there. It was like living at home, I was leaving early so Jeffrey and Karen showed me how to serve myself an early breakfast in the kitchen. It is a wonderful brownstone house with a luxurious interior. They are very kind and with great eye for details. Rooms...

Clarendon Square Inn was such a delight, from the quality of the rooms, to the fabulous bed, to the lovely manager Karen. The Inn is in a great location, with lots of great restaurants nearby and close to transport. We loved the atmosphere, and the way that all of the guest looked like they felt at home - we certainly...

My husband and I stayed at the Clarendon Square for three nights this March. We were not sure what to expect of a B&B in the city, but from the time we arrived to the time of our departure we have been exceedingly impressed. The space is gorgeous- modern with beautiful furniture and all of the amenities. The people, including...

This is the 2nd time that my partner and I have stayed at Clarendon Square. It is still a Gem! Jimmy and Stephen are the hosts with the most and cater to one's every need without being intrusive. If you're in Boston, do yourself a favor and skip the chain hotels and stay here. Very expanded continental breakfast and within...

The Clarendon Square Inn is a quiet B&B on a residential street in the South End of Boston. I lived in the South End 9 years ago and this is a great street in a great neighborhood. The inn was very nicely decorated. We had a top floor bedroom and it was very quiet. We used the hot tub on...

My husband and I went to the Clarendon Square for our 1st wedding anniversary. What a wonderful experience! From the modern decor, to the courteous staff, and the delicious breakfast. We stayed in one of their interior rooms (a little bit cheaper becasue it doesn't have a window) but it is great for sleeping in late!! They give you a...

Had the pleasure of staying here on a trip to take my daughter to look at colleges and to visit my brother. He told me about Clarendon Square Inn and I am so glad he did. Besides being convenient to my brother's brownstone, it was comfortable, clean, the hosts were so pleasant, the breakfasts delicious, the atmosphere calm and relaxing...

We have just returned from a four-day weekend in Boston and were fortunate to have stayed at the Clarendon Square Bed and Breakfast! The property has lovingly been restored by the owner and the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We loved staying in a 'residential neighbourhood'....away from the hustle and bustle, but close to many activities! Breakfast was delicious...

My fiance and I stayed in the Hollywood room for one night. The staff were very helpful. We left early in the morning and were invited to help ourselves to breakfast items before we went. We also enjoyed hanging out in the rooftop hot tub overlooking the city. What a fabulous way to wind down.

A private, exquisitely detailed B&B set in a great location, spotlessly clean, wonderful amenities, genuinely friendly service, and a BED to die for. Too many thoughtful little touches to list here, every detail has been thought of. The only thing to be aware of is that the building is an older brownstone, and while it has been beautifully and tastefully...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
