Best place to stay in Boston! We stayed here in May and couldn't wait to return! Just had a great two nights again! Super clean, super friendly and helpful staff, awesome location to walk anywhere, Newbury, Fenway, restaurants...no shortage of towels, water, pillows, extra supplies...anything you need they can help you with! Rooftop patio makes for a great "private" restaurant....

Gorgeous period property in a quiet, tree-lined street just 7 mins walk from Back Bay Station. From here we walked to everywhere we wanted to go in Boston, with no need for public transport or cabs. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. Breakfast is substantial and can be taken outside on the deck or in the elegant dining room....

We absolutely LOVED this B&B. It's in a neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants, the library, and the freedom trail. Uber is also very easy to use in the city. At the B&B we enjoyed the rooftop hot tub and views and we loved eating breakfast outside. Our room was #4 and had a very comfortable bed, was ultra clean,...

I don't typically like B&Bs because I prefer my privacy but the Clarendon Square has changed me! It is absolutely lovely, clean, beautifully decorated (especially at Christmas time), modern, and low-key. My husband and I were never pressured to spend time with strangers, though we did and we enjoyed it immensely. The roof-top hot tub was such a fun surprise!...

We had a wonderful weekend in Boston. Clarendon Square was the perfect location for walking to most all points of interest and great restaurants. Melissa, the weekend innkeeper, could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Our room on the bottom floor was comfortable. We enjoyed our private patio. Breakfasts were tasty. We appreciated the options of dining in the...

We are so happy to find this location. Within walking distance of everything Boston. Located in a cute neighborhood surrounded by a smorgasbord of great eateries. The accommodations were great and the breakfast was definitely the way to get the day going. We will be back.

Thank you Chris. We are glad you found us and glad you enjoyed staying at CS. You will definitely have to come back again soon, we have new restaurants opening in the neighborhood in a couple of weeks. We know it is impossible to try them all, unless maybe, you decide to stay a month!

Delicious breakfasts---think European with your choice of coffee drinks to start the day. If the weather cooperates, eat outside; the deck is filled with gorgeous plants. Rooms which are comfortable and unique---modern amenities tucked inside a historic row house. Take in the city skyline from the rooftop deck as you bring your day to a close. Don't forget your bathing...

Looking for an amazing deck with city views, a quant neighborhood and street packed with Boston charm, or something different than a big cookie cutter chain hotel? Look no further - this is and remains our favorite place to stay in Boston. Beautiful style, attention to details, and friendly service. Can't wait to return!

How nice that we are still in your thoughts a full 5 months after your stay during the holidays. That truly is the best compliment. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the design and the overall feeling of our property. Please come back in the summer and enjoy our breakfast dining deck which is full of beautiful foliage and flowers.

This B&B (Inn) is located on a nice tree lined, brownstone street in the South End. We enjoyed the Clarendon Square a lot; breakfast was nicely presented, our room was reasonably spacious with an updated bathroom, and Gabriella (hopefully spelled correctly, was very helpful and extended herself to make our stay pleasant. The property is about a ten minute walk...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
