Overall, the hotel is middle-of-the-road business hotel. Nothing special yet competent. But mercy, finding your room will take a circle or two around the perimeter to find it. Signage doesn't help and it's just darn confusing. I'm not sure if I'd return to the place but given it was a business trip and my vendor picked the hotel it certainly...

Booked a room for my husband to visit our son who lives in the area of Boston. Reading the reviews and map location, it did indeed live up to an excellent stay. Staff was friendly. Parking available. Drinks available within hotel. The location was perfect for walking and to the markets and pubs. Highly recommended.

We came here by a choice of Friends all reviews were spot on about this hotel. Friendly staff and gorgeous lobby. 613 needs to be remodeled again. As well as painted there is still stain from a bug being killed on the ceiling, walls in the bathroom need to be wiped down. Noise level was ridiculously loud up until 11:30...

Dear Recent Guest, First and most importantly, on behalf of our team I offer apologies that your stay was less than anticipated and we are disappointed that we fell short of a friends' recommendation. We appreciate you noting a room number as TripAdvisor reviews do not allow us to identify a guests identity and normally leaves us without a capability...

Dear Colleen, Thank you for your stay and comments and we hope you enjoyed our city over this past St. Patrick's Day, as it the highest volume of Irish revelers, some not, that we've seen in many years! Our "comfy" beds were installed just this past year and we've received many compliments on how restful a nights sleep our guests...

This hotel was everything the reviews said it would be! Walking distance to everything, clean , nice, spacious rooms! We had two adjoining rooms with my two kids and husband and it was a great setup. Dear David, My team, and I, are thrilled to hear of your experience in one of our Suites and thank you for selecting The Bostonian! It is not common for a hotel to have accommodations which feature wood-burning fireplaces and what could be more calming and romantic on a cold New England night. And, with this past weekend at 8...

Stayed for weekend and definitely going back. Literally across the street from Hard Rock Cafe and Faneuil Marketplace. 5 minute walk from beginning of Lil Italy. Beautiful room with large clean updated bathroom, comfy beds, robes, had mini fridge in my room by request. Valet parking expensive, but very convenient since we were coming in and out of hotel to...

This is our second stay here at the Bostonian. It is centrally located overlooking Quincy Market and it is only a short walk to the wonderful restaurants in North End. The hotel is clean and staff are quite friendly. An excellent stay for a weekend getaway.

We enjoyed a Christmas season weekend here. The spirit of the season is celebrated with just enough decorations, oh, and the hot chocolate in the lobby! The room is lovely and comfortable. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
