Excellent location for all walking tours you may want to do. The hotel staff was excellent in every way! This historical building makes for a great boutique hotel right in the heart of the financial district. BOND is a great place for evening cocktails after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms were okay, but could use some updating. The... More

The hotel is very good but has some old and a bit less being taken care of as would be expected from this brand. And this is a bit disappointing to me. The location as well as the cleanliness are fine.

We had booked this Hotel through a travel company called Trailfinders and they were running an offer which enabled us to get a discount of 20%. This then took the Hotel in to the same price bracket as Hotels with one star lower rating and so we jumped at the chance! The Hotel is well placed in easy walking distance... More

Great location relative to financial district and walking distance to everything you want to see. Nice indoor pool and good gym. Service was excellent and room was nice but not luxurious. The pink pens the have in room are nice for gifts. Would stay there again but only when rates are off peak. Good breakfast in hotel and attached to... More

We stayed here, prior to an escorted coach tour of the New England area. The hotel was really good, stylish and traditional, with all the staff being warm and welcoming. Our room was a little smaller than I anticipated, but that's a minor point. Breakfast was really good. being buffet you could select what you wanted and was in most... More

Absolutely fabulous location downtown. On first glance, the Langham Hotel is entirely gorgeous. Loved (LOVED!) the pink accents and elegant decor throughout. The lobby is scented with a bit of a strong floral scent that got irritating at times, but not awful. Front desk agent made a quip on check-in about booking with a third-party website... which should play little-to-no... More

My sister and I spent a week in this hotel and I can not praise it enough. The staff were outstanding - they smiled, constantly offered help, enquired what more they could do to help. They remembered who we were, what we liked to drink and eat. Our only disappointment was the staff in the spa who were disinterested in... More

No choice in hotels inasmuch I was at a business meeting arranged by others, but The Langham has a wonderful reputation. Apparently, it isn't justified. My night was interrupted with hammering on steel repeatedly during the night starting after midnight. We just returned from a long weekend stay at the Langham Hotel. All staff were friendly and super-helpful. The room is traditional, light gold and cream striped wallpaper, standard amenities. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
