My husband and I stayed for three nights at Verona's B & B. The location was very convenient to historic sites, transportation, restaurants, and shopping. The B & B was clean, comfortable, and provided updated furnishings. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We would highly recommend it and would stay there again.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Verona's B&B on Chandler Street, which was the perfect location for our visit to Boston. Our daughter lives and works in the area so we were able to join her for dinner, then walk to her apt afterwards without feeling threatened in this busy neighborhood. We had a rental car the first...

Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street within two blocks of a subway station, this converted Civil War era residence offers comfortable rooms in central Boston. We arrived on a morning flight with the confidence that a convenient lock box would guarantee access to drop off our luggage even if no one happened to be around. We stayed in Room #5...

We stayed for about one week at Verona's B & B. Very comfortable and nice location. Well equipped and extremely friendly hosts. We loved the stay. Just had some issues taking the luggage 3 floors up. Will always return to the same.

I was in Boston for a conference and decided to go with this bed and breakfast instead of the more expensive hotels around the convention center. It was great. Much more affordable than the local area hotels, it was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. And since it is within a mile of the convention center, it was an easy walk....

In a very expensive city (outside of our own) this place was perfect, central and affordable much less clean. Had character and charm. Owners were great, perfect little breakfast in the morning if we wished and again, the neighbourhood was solid. Good bicycle rental place foot steps away and from there we managed to hit every place we wanted to...

This B&B is located on a shady, quite brick street with brownstones. It is about 2 blocks aways from the Bachbay station on the green line. It's a quick walk to Copley Plaza, the Prudential, Newburry and Boylston Street. A slightly longer walk will take you the the Public Gardens, Charles St and the downtown area. A very quick walk...

Staying in South End

Neighbourhood Profile
South End
Stroll down the beautiful brownstone lined streets while capturing views of Boston’s tallest buildings from a distance. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are scattered around this neighborhood. There are many gems to be found, from jazz clubs to classy bars and restaurants. It is also home to art galleries, interesting boutiques, artsy stores and SOWA open market during the summer months. The South End is a true find in the city, with a more residential feeling than Back Bay.
