I booked this as a surprise for my mums 60th, we have come from St Andrews in Scotland and wanted to stay here. The communication from the hotel was quick and they responded to my requests. I look forward to spending two nights here. From the moment you step in, you feel very welcome.

Stayed here and couldn't have been happier with the location right on Copley Plaza. The lobby is opulent and the rooms are spacious and have beautiful views. Things were pretty central, so it was easy to walk and see sights from the location.

Overall an excellent hotel. Rooms were very clean. The only thing about downtown Boston is that there are no places to but trinkets for tourist to send home. There were some old architecture around the Fairmont (Churches) that make for an interesting look back into history.

We met a possible future daughter in law for brunch. The staff was incredible. The place is comfortable and opulent. The menu brought us there and the food will bring us back. I had the Ham and Raclette Pancakes. Imagine that? I haven't had that much Raclette since my trip to Switzerland.

This was our first trip to Boston. We are familiar with the Fairmont chain and try to pick the Gold / concierge when possible. This proved to be a PERFECT choice in Boston. The hotel is situated central to most sites and attractions. Many modes of transportation were available right outside the door. The hotel itself is old charm glorious...

We stayed here on a family trip. There were 4 of us in a club level room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated. Elegant, refined, intimidating. The staff has service refined to a fine art. Everyone I encountered was a model of professionalism. The hotel is lovely- over the top, old world elegant. My room was spacious and impeccably clean with two large closets and a great view of the square. I wonder how many people don't even notice the artwork in the...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
