Whenever we go to Boston, we always stay at the Newbury Guest House. A great location, hearty breakfast and very helpful staff. Best of all, our favorite French restaurant, La Voile, is in the basement!More

Stayed here during a one week holiday in Boston and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious , the breakfast great, the staff extremely helpful and the location perfect. I would recommend anyone going to Boston to stay at the Newbury Guest House.
We arrived rather stressed by delays because of the adverse weather conditions and the staff were helpful in phoning around to find a restaurant which was still open despite the snow .

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice
weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

Parking is available at a rate of $20.00 per night. We are a fairly quiet hotel and we typically host an older demographic; however, that's not to say that our hotel is not kid-friendly. Loud children may bother other guests, but we trust that you will respect our relaxing, quiet atmosphere as best you can.
I hope this answered your question.
