Spent a night there with my husband and child. Loved the decor of the place, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Walls were pretty thin, so we were all awoken at 2:30 a.m. when our neighbors came home. Bed was a little hard for my taste. Excellent room service breakfast. Great location.

Stayed here on the second half of our Boston trip. The lobby was really nice and swanky. The front desk was very efficient and pleasant. Our room was on the top floor and although small, was very nicely decorated and clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Boston. Close to the Prudential and adjoining mall... More

This was exactly what my sister and I were looking for in our "Sister Trip"! Great location in Back Bay (shops, the Pru, coffee shops, even a Lindt Chocolate shop around the corner!), short walking distance to the T at Copley Square, which is so easy to navigate, wonderful staff, clean, comfortable rooms, yummy eggs bene's and evening wine. Great place to stay and explore Boston. We were there two days after Christmas and had an enjoyable stay. We left the car parked at the hotel and just walked around. Our room was nice and had a city view. Would stay here again.

I stayed one night during the Christmas season, and it just felt so cozy and warm here. The hotel had set my radio to a station playing Christmas music, so that it was playing when I got into my room (which I thought was pretty big). It was bitterly cold outside, but my room was nice and toasty. My bed... More

Brilliant location for exploring Boston on foot from. All staff were extremely friendly (and thank you for the room upgrade, that was brilliant). No tea or coffee in the room but available downstairs for you to help yourself to, with hot chocolate & marshmallows in the afternoon (it was winter), with wine at 5 for an hour. The hotel offer... Spent 2 nights here looking at grad schools with my daughter and sightseeing. This place was perfect! Early check in, late check out, nice wine tastings in the lobby, coffee ready early. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Super comfortable beds, terrific housekeeping. And a great location within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights after my company holiday party. Great location and a very friendly staff! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Yes the rooms are small, but very nicely decorated and clean. The beds were super comfy - down comforters and pillows made it very difficult to get up and start exploring the city! There is a complimentary wine tasting each day between 5 and 6 which was really nice. Very friendly... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
