The location is actually 5 stars! The T, acquarium, restaurants, bars, 7 eleven, parking lot..all at walking distance. The hotel is pretty comfortable. The pool so so as well as the jacuzzi. Service is great. Depending on your reason to travel, try to get your meals outside of the hotel.

Dear Jiev16 – Thanks for reviewing us. Our location is excellent for site seeing as well as dining. I would encourage members of the TripAdvisor community to visit our restaurant Waterline as its eclectic menu is delicious and has something for everyone. I truly believe the hidden gem in the city. See you back son.

I've been a long time Marriott Platinum member. I've traveled with my wife and 3 little kids using rewards points on numerous occassions in various cities over the years and my family has always been treated great by Marriott. In most cases we are upgraded to suites because of the size of our party. This time I was offered a...

First, it should be said that the location of this hotel is top-notch. We were within walking distance to pretty much everything and it was incredibly convenient. The views were also tremendous from the hotel. However, this hotel is expensive! ($300+ p/night!) And the rooms do not merit that price. Our room was very small; it was nice, but very...

Dear phoenixgirl2 – Thank you for the comments regarding your most recent stay with us. I do believe that guest feedback is invaluable to our development. I am sorry that we disappointed you and didn’t necessarily present a level of customer service that we have been known to achieve at a consistently high level. Travelled with 2 of our 4 children(ages 11 and 16) and husband. Met family staying in Beacon Hill. The location was the best. Next to Faneulia Hall and North End. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
