We had adjoining rooms for a bachlorette party. Rooms were decent with a sofa sleeper and a king size bed. The only complain we had was the fridge never got cold. Everything we put in the fridge was just above being warm. Great water pressure. Not very noisy in the halls. Close walk to Quincy Market and the wharf.

Dear CJM1958 – Thank you for the review. I am sorry to disappoint, the “room coolers” are not refrigerators but insulated boxes that keep cold items cool. The big difference is that the unit has no compressor or refrigerant. The coolers were substituted for fridges because there was no ventilation provided in the case goods during the last renovation. Loved this hotel location, staff and room. We had a view of the harbor and it was quiet and clean. The pool and gym facilities are terrific plus a nice outdoor terrace. Jump downstairs and try their chowder..wicked good! Walking distance to the North end with amazing Italian restaurants. There is a great wine and beer store with top shelf... More

We went to dinner at the restaurant and could not have better service. Michael Pratt was our wait staff this day as well as on a prior visit. Hang on to him as he is personality plus. We remembered him from our first trip. We will always come back here. The exceptional service begins when we park the car. I... More

It's always nice to stay at a full service Marriott - good restaurants, nice lobby, etc. The Long Wharf is no exception. I've wanted to stay here for a long time but could never justify the price. There just never seems to be a good time to get a decent rate. On my way to Hawaii and needing a place... More

Granted-- This is a beautiful property. The location of Marriott Long Wharf could be better for tourists. Easy walking to wonderful restaurants in the Italian end of town, perfect access to the Salem Ferry and a short stroll to the old historic district. HOWEVER IF FAMILY SLEEPING COMFORT is a priority, book elsewhere. Our family's sleeping arrangment were terribly inadequate.... More

Went to this hotel with a couple friends to watch the Boston Celtics playoff game and to spend some time checking out Boston. The hotel cannot be better situated. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
