The location could not be better -- on the water, within steps of everything (including sightseeing bus stop,) North end dining, Faniuel Hall, Freedom Trail, etc. The kids loved it and can't wait to return.

Dear Patrick C – Thanks for the review and sharing with the TripAdvisor community. We certainly are in the middle of it all. I appreciate you choosing Long Wharf amongst so many other properties in the city. Hope to welcome you and the family back soon.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! The location is perfect for Freedom Trail, restaurants, shopping, and harbor activities. Subway is just outside the front door. Breakfast buffet is fabulous. Service is phenomenal. Pool, hot tub wonderful at the end of a sightseeing day and the patio views overlooking harbor spectacular.

Dear Boone23 – Thanks for your excellent review. I really appreciate you taking the time and certainly for choosing to stay with us. We are getting into that season now where the 3rd floor pool deck will be activated with food and beverage options. It goes without saying the best view of the Boston Harbor are a constant. Hope to...

We reserved a room on the Concierge Level (floor 7) as we were told this would guarantee us a room with a seaview. When we arrived we were given a room on the 7th floor with no seaview and probably one of the worst rooms in the hotel. After a huge fuss we were moved to a room with a...

Dear JacoCl – Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. Please accept my apologies for the disappointing stay. I am unsure of your room in the Hotel, but generally speaking, with very few exceptions, the views overlooking the Boston Harbor are very good no matter where you are in the Hotel. We are certainly a different building than Seaport, with...

I am a platinum member for Marriott and stay at multiple hotels in their brand over a year. Long Wharf provides an excellent facility, clean quiet rooms, excellent concierge room and fun atmosphere. Location is excellent for downtown events. From Barry, Michael and Brian in bar/restaurant, to the door men working out front service is excellent. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice Marriott in a heart location. It's on the train line that takes you to Logan Airport, or anywhere in Boston, it's also a quick walk to the Market and many gear restaurants and shopping. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, there is a coffee maker and fridge in the room and a good sized desk...

Dear kattrins – Thank you for the review on TripAdvisor. Just a point of information, we don’t have refrigerators standard in the rooms, but insulated coolers that allow cold items to stay cooler for longer periods. Refrigerators are available upon request on a complimentary basis. I agree that the fitness facility is tops and the views from the 3rd floor...

My husband and I spent 2 nights of the Memorial Day weekend here and had a great time. Accommodations were comfortable and staff were wonderful-friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Parking is pricey @ $51. a night, but that is typical for Boston and you do have the option of leaving your car until 6 pm on day...

Dear Phyllis 1291 – Happy birthday to you. Thank you for selecting Long Wharf for such a special occasion. I understand the parking rates may be a bit of a shock, but unfortunately it is the market rate for overnight...

Whenever my family and I are visiting Boston, we really enjoy our stay at this hotel. Quality service, beautiful rooms, perfect location and we enjoy the gym and pool area. Dear Pedro R – I appreciate the fantastic 5 star review. I am glad we are the home away from home for you when in town. We came to Boston for our son's graduation. It's location was ideal for The North End and Faneuil Hall The room was aging and we could not open the window to allow fresh air in. The only suggestion I would make is to have complementary wifi throughout the hotel

Dear CamoLoco – Congratulations on your son’s graduation. Thank you for choosing the Marriott Long Wharf for your accommodations amongst all of the choices in Boston. Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
