This Inn is everything you need for a great get-away. Comfortable, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Pleasant location convenient to downtown and other parts of city. The host and hostess were both charming, helpful and truly concerned about making our stay as good as possible. We will return again next year.

Thank you for making 1900 Inn on Montford your destination in Asheville, traveling with friends and a birthday celebration! It was great hosting you all, including Baci! We're so glad that our pet friendly Rossetti Suite suited you all for your stay! Rossetti is a 450 sq ft pet-friendly suite located on the ground floor of the carriage house behind the main house. It has a private entrance and enclosed rear garden with table and chairs. Rossetti is cozy, with a fireplace in the nook. This room also offers ultimate privacy, so you can even open both french doors to the private garden while you’re taking a soak in the lavish jacuzzi during the warmer months. As you mentioned, the inn is located near the hustle and bustle of downtown Asheville but in a quiet, historic neighborhood. We're also conveniently located to hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway and several local hikes that we like to recommend. We're happy that you felt well taken care of during your stay! Our goalis always for our guests to have the best time possible during their stay with us, and we enjoy helping to plan or suggest things to do and sample while you're here! Your time away is precious. We're glad that we could be a part of it! We're looking forward to seeing you again next year! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

Clean, comfortable, and convenient to downtown Asheville. They are genial hosts. He makes and serves over-the-top breakfasts and she keeps you supplied with multiple versions of her homemade cookies. Their advice on what to do and where to eat in Asheville is top notch.

Thank you for your stay with us at 1900 Inn on Montford to celebrate an important birthday and a wonderful anniversary! Knowing that this was a sort of homecoming to Asheville makes this visit even more special. We're honored that you chose our Inn as your home base! We're happy that our Fitzgerald Room was to your liking. It really is something special, with the walk-in rain shower with starlit floors and the luxurious Chromatherapy tub. It's pretty neat that the tub actually fills up from the ceiling, isn't it?! Thanks for mentioning our delicious cookies and wonderful breakfasts! Such kind words from wonderful guests who are world travelers like you are humbling to us and we sincerely hope to have the chance to host you again someday soon! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

Another great stay in the books at 1900 Inn on Montford! The cookies did not disappoint...try the Lemon Crinkle......delish! Also new on the menu was a homemade cinnamon bun with a twist, a wonderfully delicious apple filling! Our room was fabulous as always and the music top notch on Saturday night. Shawnie and Willy know how to make you feel special and they know all the great places to go in Asheville. Already have a reservation for June 2024!

We like to say that when our guests are already planning and booking their next at 1900 Inn on Montford even before they've left is the best compliment we could have bestowed upon us! We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed our new breakfast apple cinnamon roll! We've been experimenting with and adding new things to our 3-course breakfast menu. That's a really good one and an instant favorite with our guests. We're happy that our Zelda's Retreat Suite was to your liking...it's the largest guest accommodation in the main house of the inn, as it is located in the entire top floor! The bathroom in the suite got a major update last year, and the tub and steam shower are a lovely luxury. We're looking forward to seeing you again and welcoming you back to the inn in June! Saturday night music will be on the porch at that time of the year...we can't wait! Thanks again! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

Thank you for your recent stay with us at 1900 Inn on Montford! It was great to have you here, and knowing that everyone enjoyed the weekend (and celebrating your birthday), is icing on the cake! The music this visit was lively and such a good time was had by all! We love having guests like you who return to the inn again and again for a visit-and we're glad that our Rossetti Suite suits you so well. It's the perfect suite for the cooler months with it's cozy fireplace in the nook. It also is terrific in the warmer months, as the suite offers ultimate privacy, so you can even open both french doors to the private garden while you’re taking a soak in the lavish jacuzzi (if you choose). It also has a private entrance and an enclosed garden with a table and chairs to relax, take your breakfast, or just enjoy. To say that we're looking forward to your next stay is an understatement! We stayed in the Cloisters located in the carriage house. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and artfully served. We thoroughly enjoyed the whirlpool tub and steam shower with multiple jets. The innkeepers are lovely people who will do everything possible to help you achieve the purpose of your visit. Highly recommended.

Having you arrive is like welcoming friends and family home to 1900 Inn on Montford! Thank you for making us your Asheville destination! We love hosting your stay and are happy to see you and Lucy! We're honored to have repeat guests, like you, who call our B&B their favorite home away from home. We're glad that you took some time this visit to have a massage and treat yourselves. Having an in-room massage is always a good idea...and the Rosetti Suite provides ample space for it! We're happy to here that Rosetti is your favorite! It's a terrific option especially for those of you traveling with their pets since it provides some outside space with the private garden. And you can have breakfast delivered to the room to stay with your pup if you like! Our neighborhood (the Montford Historic District) is a great one for walking, as it is full of pretty historic homes and wonderful tree-lined streets. We're close enough to downtown that you can walk in if you choose, and we're lucky to have several really great restaurants right down the street! Thank you for your return visit to 1900 Inn on Montford! We love having you here an look forward to your next stay! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

Very comfortable and quiet room accompanied by excellent breakfasts made with fresh ingredients and obvious care. They were able to acquire roses and locally made chocolates for an anniversary surprise, and they gifted us an excellent bottle of Prosecco as an additional surprise. The Saturday night live concert at the Inn was a delight with talented and engaging musicians. Be ready for some stairs, but they are worth the effort. Owners and staff were excellent hosts and made for an enjoyable visit.

Thank you for choosing 1900 Inn on Montford for the destination for your anniversary getaway (and to watch the BIG game!). We're happy that you enjoyed your stay and that your team won such an exciting game! It makes us happy to know that you enjoyed that prosecco that we provided, along with the roses and chocolates made by our local partner Asheville Chocolates which you pre-ordered to have waiting in the room for you! Such a nice way to surprise and delight your spouse for your anniversary! We're glad that you enjoyed our Fitzgerald Room, located in the main house of the inn, on the second floor as you mentioned! Fitzgerald is a favorite choice among our guests, with the comfortable chairs, king sized bed, cozy fireplace, and an en suite bath outfitted with a walk-in rain shower and a chromotherapy tub (that fills from the ceiling!). We're happy that your time with us included a stay over a Saturday so you could attend our Saturday Night Bluegrass Social Hour! It's a fun way to start your evening - with local music. Thanks again for your stay with us to celebrate your anniversary. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again someday soon! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

My friend and I stayed for three nights in February at the Inn. We were greeted warmly and felt very welcome to use different spaces around the Inn; one of our favorites was the sunny room with coffee and espresso, drinks, and homemade cookies available at any time. Breakfasts were delicious from top to bottom, and we loved the variety. The owners were more than happy to accommodate a food allergy for us. Though we would have been just fine to have breakfast brought to our room, we loved sitting in the sunny dining room and being able to pop our heads in to the kitchen for a post-breakfast chat. I felt incredibly lucky to find a B&B that had a suite with two separate bedrooms and a very comfortable sitting area, as I did with the Zelda Suite at 1900 Inn on Montford. I've researched B&Bs in many different cities, and have not previously found a suite that allows two friends to have their own sleeping spaces while still providing an inviting, private space for relaxation. The recently updated luxury bathroom in the Zelda suite was a huge perk. So many details added to the relaxation and ease of our stay in the suite -- soft robes, Dyson fans, mini fridge. Although there was ample street parking, it was very helpful to have a parking space dedicated for our suite. The Montford neighborhood is lovely and walkable. We highly recommend Tall John's for dinner. I had an interest in finding a local historical marker, and Willie was diligent in helping us figure out where to go to find it. We were away for dinner the evening that local musicians played at the inn, but I can't imagine it was anything but wonderful to hear. Don't forget to buy an Inn mug to bring home and remind you of your stay. I can't wait to return!

It was great to be the place where you two, college roommates from different parts of the country, met for a friends getaway! Thank you for making 1900 Inn on Montford your destination! We're glad that our Zelda's Retreat Suite worked so well for you two! It is a great choice for friends, family members or couples traveling together because of the two separate bedrooms and spacious layout with several seating areas. It is made up of the entire top floor of our historic home, so lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. Zelda's also has a private entrance and a deck for just the guests of the suite. Sitting out there is like being in the trees! We're glad that you enjoyed the recently updated bathroom in the suite! It was fun to hear about everything that you got up to during your visit and were glad to have you come to the dining room for breakfasts and some time in the sunroom. We were happy to help in finding the historic marker in the neighborhood. Asheville has some very interesting history! Thanks again for your visit and for your kind words! We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and truly hope that you'll return again soon for another visit! The Team at 1900 Inn on Montford

My husband and I celebrated our Babymoon by staying in the William Morris Room in the Carriage House. Upon entry to the Inn and our Exit each and every moment will be ones we cherish. Gourmet breakfast each morning brought to our room, massages in our room, luxury whirlpool and steam shower, and all the most thoughtful touches made this stay our Favorite. (Heated floors, towel warmer, luxury robes, softest bedding, fireplace, whirlpool, private terrace, mini fridge, parking, fresh cookies). We wanted a quiet, lazy weekend and we got that and so much more.

I absolutely love this place! If you are looking for relaxation then look no further! Especially in the carriage house! This was our second stay in The Cloisters room. Both the steam shower and whirlpool tub inside this room were amazing! And breakfast was wonderful every single day! Each day breakfast was unique and different! This time we spent a lot more time in the room vs venturing out! And we loved absolutely every minute of it! Thank you Inn on Montford for a wonderful and relaxing birthday!!!
