I wish I would have read the reviews about Tom, the host, before booking. But even that would not have prepared us for the misadventure. We arrived in the late afternoon to a looked door and called him. When he answered the door he said "We woke him up, but he probably would help us anyway." Really? That was his...

I do apologize to this guest. I did awake from a nap and certainly should have been friendlier. Yes I do probably talk to much but there legal and others matters of safety that must be covered and possibly they asked question that got met started. I was wrong in the discussions of myself. Guests are often chided when they...

I stayed at Aberdeen Inn for 2 nights. This was my first visit to Asheville and to a small B&B. I was very happy with the Inn. My room was exactly as it looked on-line. The entire Inn was very clean. Loved the outdoor patio, and wrap around porch. Tom is a great cook! Loved the breakfast, cooking is Tom's...

This was our first visit. We chose Aberdeen Inn because of the good reviews, and quite frankly, because they were offering a 25% off special. I was really surprised that they were the only ones listed on Tripadvisor that had any type of specials. Driving to the house, we were a little nervous about our choice, due to the sketchy-looking...

Tom is a master chef and takes great pride in his food. He will hold a wonderful conversation with you if it is food related. The presentation of his food is top notched. Everything about the breakfast was fantastic. The best coffee that you can imagine. The paint color was hard to get over until the second night then I...

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights. The home was full of antiques. I fell in love with the porch the moment we pulled up. Our bed was huge and our room had a view of the mountains. Now the food, oh my! The breakfast was phenomenal! I mean it! It was the best quiche I have...

If you are looking for a relaxing, unpretentious inn in Asheville, Aberdeen Inn is a great choice. This was our second visit and, quite frankly, we went back for the food. Tom is a master chef and Michelle is a very talented pastry chef, meaning the breakfasts are awesome. Our second favorite thing is the huge wraparound porch. After you...

The trip to Asheville was amazing and it all started at the Aberdeen Inn. Tom and Michele were great hosts and made some yummy breakfast. The complimentary beer and wine is a perk. If you are looking for a cozy place just outside of Asheville with great hosts, this is it. Sean & Dayami.

If you are used to and expect a classy, upscale B&B then don't go to the Aberdeen. If you are ok with above average accommodations, good location, good breakfast and a character almost out of a reality show then go to the Aberdeen. Positives: the location is fine. Not sure what others are talking about. Close to downtown and safe....

Aberdeen Inn is a mixed bag with some very strong positives and some definite needs for improvement. We found it through rave reviews on the Internet, and had not quite expected what we got -- some things were exceptional and some things disappointed. When we first arrived, we were wishing we had booked elsewhere, but as time there passed, we...

We thank the guests for their comments and apologize for the manner inwhich they were greeted and the tone of voice at the check in. Now it is a very old house and it does have creeks that cannot be changed - the floors. All the other cracks are being corrected as qickly as we can accomplish it. The Rose...

The Aberdeen Inn is very cozy. The breakfasts are good but very sweet, and unusual (no eggs yet). The one thing guests should be warned about who are about to come and stay here in mid-to-late October (and later?) is that a new roof is being put on, causing a lot of noise-- hammers banging, etc-- and strong smell of...
