Hotel's Favourite
The Foundry is a gorgeous property filled with beautiful furniture and amenities and truly friendly and helpful staff. Gabe and Destiny at the door who helped us with our bags recognized us and our dogs every time we came through the lobby and greeted us like family. The hotel is in a perfect location close to downtown and the great restaurants (Curate, Sovereign Remedies, Rhubarb) and equally close to the Brewery District. We valet parked the car but never really needed it because we walked everywhere. You do have to request housekeeping - like everywhere during Covid - but they kept us well stocked with fresh towels, soap, water and nespresso pods. Some have commented about the mask policy but it is the same as anywhere. Wear a mask when you're walking to and from your room. We had drinks a few times and meals twice while in the lounge and on the beautiful courtyard patio and we didn't wear our masks while seated and no one cared. They are far from unreasonable. The pet policy is very generous. We brought our two large Labradors and there was just one flat fee. There is a great park right around the corner that has bags etc... Our dogs quickly got used to walking up to the front desk for a treat when they came back inside, which the team was always happy to provide. Overall we were very pleased and expect to return.

Good Afternoon baltimorebrian86, Thank you very much for the amazing review! It was a pleasure having you and your furry friends with us at The Foundry. Gabe and Destiny had a wonderful time with the dogs as I have informed them of the feedback. I hope you have the opportunity to come back and stay with us again real soon.

Perfect hotel in downtown Asheville walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The industrial design of the lobby, lounge, and rooms was gorgeous and added to the appeal of the hotel. We enjoyed drinks on their grounds when we got back from a day exploring and appreciated the hotel was set back on a less busy side street. All staff wore masks and were friendly and made our stay comfortable. We used our Amex platinum perks to get a credit for dining and drinks which was also a nice bonus! Highly recommend!

We were making a pit stop in Asheville NC and wanted to stay on a unique centrally located hotel and The Foundry meet both requirements. The staff was so great and offered champagne at check-in. The room was comfortable and the beds were so perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here! The service was incredible and we felt special from the moment we got there. The staff remembered our daily plans and always asked how things went while offering fun things we didn’t think of. We received champagne the moment we walked in which was a nice touch. The room was clean and we enjoyed overlooking the courtyard area. Plus the location is perfect for exploring the city. A great experience!
