When we decided to visit Asheville my wife did some research and found the Sourwood Inn. What a find it turned out to be! Just a short, ridiculously beautiful drive to Asheville, we had a hard time leaving the inn to visit the city. The building is absolutely amazing, very well designed and decorated. Perfectly rusty yet accommodating. The property...

This is more of an inn than a B&B. The rooms was large, with a real fireplace that was prepared for us each day. Best of all, there was a GORGEOUS view of the mountains from the terrace. A welcome, peaceful retreat. There are also 2 hikes on the property which were lovely and quiet. One think I would recommend...

Beautiful, arts and crafts style inn with only twelve spacious rooms, a fabulous chef, welcoming staff, incredibly comfortable bedding, great and spacious baths with soaking tubs looking out at the views, lots of comfy places for conversation on little patios, in front of the great stone fireplace, on the long screened porch. For hikers who like a cozy place to...

We love this inn and stay here overtime we are in Asheville. Afternoon snacks and tea in a porch rocker looking at the beautiful mountains is my idea of heaven. The amazing dinners and breakfasts are out of this world. We love disconnecting and spending time in this magical place with an amazing staff that feels like family!!!

We stayed 3 nights and I wished we would have stayed longer. I traveled with my father and 3 daughters. We all loved the location and the attentiveness of the staff. Susan Curtis is the owner's daughter and we really felt as if we were in her "home." She was a wonderful hostess. I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful property & beautiful people. Off the beaten path secluded in the trees this gem was a lucky find. Our room was spacious, comfortable and charming like the rest of the Inn. Owners & staff are so nice & welcoming. Breakfast each day was a treat... always something different & so good. We had dinner one evening...Trout, squash casserole &...

I surprised my husband for his birthday with an overnight at the Sourwood Inn. It felt like coming home. The atmosphere is warm and SO comfortable. The staff made us feel like family and our room (#8) was cozy and comfy. We played some pool in the game room and loved our time on our balcony. The common spaces were...

My wife and I have been coming to the Sourwood Inn for ten years. This wonderful inn is surrounded by a lush forest. The rooms are large with a fire place, balcony, and a fabulous shower. The large deck is perfect for your morning coffee, reading a book, or just hanging out. The breakfasts are delicious. There are miles of...

We didn't want to leave the Sourwood Inn today as it has now become our favorite of all Inn vacations. The Inn is so thoughtfully located as to woo the guests gently away from town. A beautiful, scenic drive up toward the Parkway got us to an elevation with a million dollar view! The photos online simply didn't prepare me...
