We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean except for a good bit of dust on the wall next to the air vent above the bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few disappointments. The room doesn't have a microwave or a charging station for phones. The mini-fridge was not cold at all....

My mother and I needed a place close to everything and this was the perfect place. It was close to our favorite shops and restaurants, and the trolley stop was at the hotel as well. The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable, the concierge and the valet were very nice and knowledgeable. We loved the main lobby...

When we arrived, we were greeted with helpful staff and treated to a complimentary welcome champagne. After unloading our car, we were also treated to complimentary valet parking. Upon arrival in our room, we were blown away at the sheer size of the accommodations. The bathroom included a double vanity, television, telephone, and Jacuzzi tub. The room included a King...

My husband and I recently spent the Christmas holiday at Haywood Park Hotel. We were not disappointed! Our 4th flkoor room had an exceptional view, the furnishings were what you would expect of a 5 star hotel (Ive stayed in some that would not hold up to the Haywood experience). Location is unmatched; within walking distance of the downtown attractions, The service; from valet to housekeeping- from champagne at check-in to a firm handshake and a smile...

We got a bargain on the Internet. Hotel is an old Ivy's department store building. The way they have left it is just incredible. For example when you get off the second floor the elevator says "men's floor". Plenty of room very very nice rooms nice bathrooms with phone and TV in the bathroom. Turndown service at night with wonderful...

This beautifully restored hotel is centrally located in downtown Asheville; it was previously the city's premier department store. It is minutes from the Biltmore Estate and is in the middle of a bustling shopping and dining area. The location could not be better. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable....

Recently my best friend and I had an opportunity to celebrate my birthday by staying in downtown Asheville. While being in Asheville is an enjoyable enough birthday present, having the right hotel is icing on the birthday cake. The Haywood Park Hotel--where my friend and I decided to stay--proved to be just that. The staff was made up of some...

We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in early October (prime season) and have mixed feelings about this hotel. First, the pros: Huge room. Excellent location right on one end of the main walkable downtown area. Comfortable bed and seating (sofa, arm chair), clean (including the upholstery on the furniture). Reasonably friendly staff. Valet parking was convenient and workable, though...
