The 3 Stars comes from the relatively convenient location and full hookups. There’s not a lot more going for the RV side of this campground. Sites are all in a paved lot and are pretty close together. Showers are $2 for 5 minutes and take...More

great place for base camp while you explore big bend , friendly staff , very helpful ,but go in the fall so its not to hot , great place to see the stars , and check out the rio grand river , will go back

Just recently stayed at the rv campground at Rio Grand Village in Big Bend NP. Showers/restrooms in poor condition, plus they ran out of paper towels and toilet paper over the weekend! Poor planning, I’d say! They close the facilities from 8-9 am to clean...More

Large campground with option for electrical hookups for rv’s. The non electric no generator area is scenic and offers more shade. A good area for birding and other wildlife like javalinas. The only campground with showers in the park. These are paid showers. Free WiFi...More

Don't wait until the end of the day. Go to the campground early in the morning to reserve your site for that night. Enjoy Big Bend!
