Our three bedroom was as large as an apartment and afforded us plenty of space and conveniences. It was a great bargain. Cathy, the owner, was wonderful . Her breakfasts were delicious and she was so kind to tell us some of the history of the area and direct us to some wonderful sights. While the inn is centrally located...

I called Cathy (the owner) at the last minute and she was able to secure a room for me. It was the best I've stayed in for a long time: spotless, plenty of space, essentially a furnished apartment with dishes, etc. A home away from home for sure. The breakfast was great. You can really tell when a property is...

My boyfriend and I stay in all sorts of interesting and funky places and are not overly picky (we don't freak about cockroaches--it's New Mexico--or the occasional mouse, or piss and moan about "dated decor," bathroom doors that don't shut, etc. We're not into the whole "luxury hotel" thing.) But we aren't a big fan of noise--and this was my...

Pluses: low cost, VERY quiet, breakfasts like Mom used to cook Negatives: Sort of a chicken coop, limited amenities in room (no coffee mugs or spoons), glacial wifi, thin walls. Be trusting and leave door open or suffer from no ventilation. On balance next time I may pay more to stay in a real hotel.

The owner, Catherine, is very nice and helpful, cooking a great breakfast every morning for the guests. Rooms are perfectly equipped, many of them with kitchen and a nice balcony!!!!! Highly recommendable!

Staff members were pleasant and helpful. Cooked-to-order breakfasts were excellent. We were in a smaller room (a small suite, actually) but it gave us ample space and we did not feel cramped. There was a refrigerator, which was a nice touch, and parking was just outside our door. WiFi worked well.

In Los Alamos to hike in Bandelier. This Inn is the best bed and breakfast I have stayed at because it is a lovely mix of privacy and home cooking. My friend and I had a two bedroom, basically an apartment, so we each had our own room. Large kitchen for our coffee and spreading out maps and such in...

We were visiting family in Los Alamos and needed 2 rooms. Our daughter told us about a nearby B &B, the North Road Inn. It was incredibly convenient (5 minutes from their house) and the cost for a 2 or 3 bedroom suite was incredibly low (around $98.00 per night plus tax). The rooms were clean and the beds were...

We stayed at the North Road Inn because it is located by family. Our room was one of the smaller ones, but since we were not there much, it was okay (to watch TV, you had to lay on the bed). This room would have been better suited to a single person, it was a little tight for a couple....

If you are visiting Los Alamos, and want a feel for the town, this is the place to stay. Don't stay in one of the new, sterile and characterless hotels out by the airport! I grew up in Los Alamos and often stay at the North Road Inn when visiting family. This place has the feel of the Los Alamos...
