Love Koa they are all well maintained and quiet. We stayed for one night and the place was very clean they had a huge dog area. The place is very kid and family oriented. All the sites are a nice size for our unit and we felt very welcome even coming in late. I would stay there again.

We stayed in ten different KOAs on our cross country survey of National Parks. This KOA seemed a bit spartan compared to others. We stayed in a tipi which was surprisingly comfortable and withstood a major storm. In addition to the torrential rain, thunder and lightening we literally had 60 mph winds. The tipi flexed but was solid and with...

Riding our motorcycle 8 hours to get to this location, only to be met with high winds, thunder and lightening, and fierce rain and pea sized hail, was daunting. However, pulling up to the pavilion and peeling off our rain gear we were pleasantly suprised with what the KOA Badlands had to offer. Cooked pizzas, multiple clean (and HOT) showers/restrooms,...

We stayed at this KOA under the previous management many timed while assigned to EAFB in Rapid City. We moved a few years ago and we are here visiting. First issue: we are very familiar with KOA campgrounds, and have never had to follow up with a phone call after making an online reservation. We made one specifically for a...

This is an oasis in the Badlands!! We love staying here. The camping sites are fairly small, but the campground is large with a pool and playground. Having electricity is a necessity in the heat. The real treat is the food - buffalo burgers, indian tacos and breakfast. After a long day on the road, this is heaven!

This KOA staff is professional and bustling. A super clean KOA with snug sites but gracious grounds and pancakes to die for! Dakota gem! The pool made the price well worth the stay. Well outfitted laundry room, huge store and rentals. Kids loved the playground and tee pee.

We stayed in this campground while visiting Badlands. Our tent site was level and large enough to accommodate our tent. The bathrooms and showers were dirty, old, and poorly maintained. The bugs were awful here but the campground has no control over them.

My biggest complaint here was the mosquitos, which wasn't the fault of this KOA. There had been a flood in the farm fields next to the camp which is a mosquito breeding ground. The flies were bad as well. We thought there would be free pancakes, but they charged for them. We were told they were about 8 inches wide,...

We were tent camping in South Dakota and decided to spend one night in a cabin at this KOA. it was very nice! Clean and well maintained. Had a great pool that was refreshing in 90 degree weather! Laundry was open 24 hours and had a TV. Caught up with laundry while the kids swam in pool. Laundry room was...

First of all, finding the campground was an adventure in itself. Upon arrival, we were met with friendly service and escorted to our site. The double site idea is nice in theory, but it turned out to be a hassle the morning we left when we were sandwiched in on one side and directly in front of us and had...
