I stayed at Portal RV Resort in July, 2016. I was very happy to be there. The check in was easy and smooth. They were ready to answer any questions I had and any questions I did not know I needed to ask. They gave us lots of info about the town. Kudos. They seemed to be happy to see... More

We came for 3 days and stayed 3 weeks. We stayed in the owners section and could not have asked for a better site. We kept uber busy outside of the RV park, but they made great suggestions as to what we could do & where we could visit & eat. This place is super clean, everyone in the office... More

The owners part of the campground is nice and that is where the better reviews are from. Stay away from the campground part though. If you don't like something, don't expect them to help. They will just kick you out - like they did with us. They have three porta-potty showers total for the entire campground (for Men and Women).... More

We stayed here for just 1 night in our fifth wheel. Our site was on the owner's side and was very nice - paved and level. We went straight to Arches upon arrival - it was almost 6pm but it turned out to be a great time to visit with little traffic and great color with the fading sun. We... More

We recently stayed in the resort end of Portal for 3 hot July nights. The large all concrete RV site was welcome after staying at Ruby's in Bryce (no concrete). We had a lit pergola as well which offered welcoming shade after long days in the sun at Arches and Canyonlands. The showers were beautiful and spacious. Wi-Fi was the... More

There are two sides to the park. One side is owners rental that is all concrete with pool and hot tub. We had reservations for owner side but was messed up. My fault for not reading my email confirmation. We had to stay on the other side but all roads paved with gravel sites. Very close but clean and quiet.... More

We stayed on the "Resort" side in our 40' Class A motorhome. Fully-improved, paved site with full-hookups, a patio, grass, etc., and lots of elbow room. Nice pool and bathrooms/showers...very clean! Verizon cell reception was super. Great location re: access to the City of Moab and Arches National Park, which is just down the highway a few miles. We are... More

I read previous reviews and yes, it is true that there are 2 sections to this park, one with a pool and one without. We stayed for 4 nights in the section without a pool. (We are traveling in a 45' motorcoach towing a jeep ). This park is clean, nicely landscaped, convenient to everything and the WiFi is very... More

Just like another reviewer stated, the staff misrepresented the amenities when I called to book. I asked 1 question, "Do you have a pool?" The answer was "YES" but when I checked in they said it was only for guests staying on the "owner" side of the park. OBVIOUSLY they knew that because I was making a reservation. Go elsewhere... Very impressed with this RV resort. If you have a newer RV you can stay in their "resort" portion of the park. Wide cement pads & most have a covered patio with picnic table & outdoor lights. Pool is small but our family lived it. Clean restrooms/showers. Quiet. Amazing views and less than a 5 minute drive to the of... More
