Don't get me wrong. The concept is great. The implementation is lacking. The price point is appropriate. These are a cluster of homes/cabins nestled in a meadow high up in the La Sal mountains. To get here you must drive up a minimally maintained winding...More

We were turned on to this place by our son who designated it his favorite place to stay on his southwest trip. It was ours as well, but be prepared for an 18 mile ride out of Moab. It is located near the base of...More

Morris' Last Resort is a varied group of homes. Each seems to be very different from the others. You should not consider the review unless you know it is the cabin you are considering. This review is for Sunset Cabin. It is a 2 bedroom,...More

A "cabin" by definition is a house situated in a wild or remote location. The Sunset Cabin is located in the La Sal mountains just outside of Moab. The solitude, beauty and peace that is found at our mountain cabins is almost unmatched in the...More

We stayed in the valley southwest cabin. It was fine for two people (maybe 3, if it's a young child.) Road noise wasn't too bad. Can't imagine staying in the ones closest to the road. Only an 8 minute drive into Moab. Only complaint, the...More

In summer, driving an RV to the mountain cabins is doable. You may want to consider renting a full size SUV for the 6 of you while in Moab, for ease of travel.
