It's pretty quiet at the hotel, and there is a fantastic trail literally right behind, which goes both north and south and is often used by mountain bikers. There are dozens of hikes within a few miles.

Agreed, plenty of places to walk in the town, you can walk down to the main shopping area pretty easily.
