We had a short visit to Harpers Ferry from NJ. After researching several inns we chose The Ledge House. Great decision! The bedroom (suite 2) was more than taccommodating with an enormous bed and comfy bedding. The bathroom was a separate room with creative, tile decorating and inviting tub. There was a separate sitting room with a couch and a...

Recently I stayed at the Ledge House B&B for two nights / three days while in Harpers Ferry. It was exactly what I was looking for, a peaceful , beautiful place to relax on the deck and do some writing. The view was magnificent of the Shenandoah /Potomac River convergence and the C&O Railroad. Each morning at 9 I was...

We stayed with friends and we were in suite 3. I get it about Harpers Ferry; it's old and I knew what to expect; but Suite 3 has deferred maintenance. It could be well done with a little work. The other two suites looked nice. The common areas are fine, cozy and very good views. The yard and chickens were...

We came for a weekend with some friends. There are two suites and one room. Our friends got the room and I don't think enjoyed the same experience we did. So if you are looking at booking a room here, I would only come if you can stay in Suite 1 or 2. We stayed in Suite 1. Very comfortable...

Great views...couldn't ask for better quick getaway. We had a problem with our car on the way out...Chad gave us the name of a local mechanic and even phoned ahead for us...also kept our breakfast warm. Can't say enough.

Nice place with nice people. Beautiful surroundings, clean room and comfortable bed and linens. Be sure you are comfortable doing stairs because the unique location of the house makes it necessary, but the views are worth it! I would stay here again.

We cycled into Harpers Ferry, a little soggy, a little tired. Staying a the Ledge House was such a relaxing opportunity to re-group. The house is so beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast the absolute BEST of our week long bicycle trip along the GAP/C & O Canal. Thanks Chad!!!

I enjoyed my stay at the ledgehouse . It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The view is awesome, and the owners very friendly. We stayed in suite 1 which was on the 1st floor and very roomy and comfortable bed.

Chad and Carrie go all out at Ledge House to make their guests comfortable. I find the train whistles to be a soothing sound late at night, and the view of the Potomac River water gap is the best in town. With fall coming make your reservation quickly!
