The food and room were very nice, but the train woke me up several times at night. Very nice owner and beautiful area right in the old town. We shared a bathroom, but it was not a problem the second night because we were the only guests.

I think this is a good B&B and it has an outstanding location. The big advantage of staying here is that you can park your car for free, just behind this building, and then you and your car will be situated on the best block in the heart of the old town. Otherwise you must park at the visitors center... More

Overall: A great stay. Location: Great location near restaurants and historic park. We had the Blue Room on the second floor. It was smaller than the other room on that floor, but the Blue Room looked towards the river and railroad, which we wanted. You'll hear trains but we didn't find them to be very loud. Bathroom: This had a... More

I don't have enough nice things to say about this place! The location is unbeatable, front door access to High St where all the shops and such are located, walking distance to the national park, hiking trails, and the train station. To boot you get a free, off street parking space with your room (parking is tough in lower town).... More

Located in the old town area, very convenient to all historical sites. Our hosts/owners have made this 175 year old home very enjoyable and welcoming. They own a BnB because they enjoy meeting and talking to the guests. Chris' breakfasts were a highlight. One caveat, it is located near the train station which runs regularly thru out the night. Ear... More

What a great experience! The owners are very personable and set a relaxed and casual tone for our stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part was being able to step right out into the middle of historic Harper's Ferry without having to drive and find parking. The inn itself is 175 years old and... More

We bicycled from Pittsburgh to DC, and this had to be one of our favorite stops and best B&B. The location is perfect. We parked our bikes in the back yard, and walked into the National Park which is right there. The Stonehouse B&B just feels like more of the history. There is a stairway nearby which is part of... For my birthday, we decided to go someplace historical with a beautiful drive. We ventured out to Harpers Ferry and really enjoyed ourselves! Stonehouse is located right on the main drag. The innkeeper, Chris, met us right at the door and showed us around. I happened to leave my car door open in a storm and he ran down and... More

On a recent trip to Harpers Ferry, my boyfriend and I stayed in the Top Room at Stonehouse B&B and we really enjoyed our visit there. The location of the B&B is simply perfect; it was so nice to be able to park our car there and walk to all the main attractions in Harpers Ferry. The place itself is... More

I stayed in the Grey Room, facing onto the main street, which was absolutely lovely. Chris was very welcoming, with a very informal approach. Breakfast is taken in the kitchen, so he chats to you while he's preparing the food, which was delicious. He also makes excellent coffee! One word of warning:- the railway line is very busy, with freight... More
