Fantastic little B&B for couples! Great location to Bayfield - 2mi south of town. The owners were very friendly and helpful. 110% recommend the dog sledding with Wolfsong Adventures - you can book through Pinehurst for a discount.

We had a great winter weekend staying at the Pinehurst. The breakfasts were great, the hosts were friendly, and the room was very comfortable, including having a whirlpool bath. There's also a sauna on the property. The location was convenient--between Bayfield and Washburn--and very close to Mt. Ashwabay, which is a great spot for skiing and snowshoeing. This is a...

Absolutely fantastic! This was our first stay at a B&B and Steve and Nancy made it so memorable - such a kind, warm, and knowledgeable couple! The home is beautiful and full of history. They are an eco-friendly inn, which we appreciated. And the breakfasts were amazing - local and fresh! Sauna on site was a nice bonus, and a...

6 women friends stayed at the Pinehurst Inn to celebrate a friends Birthday Bucket List. We had the most wonderful time staying at this immaculate Inn with the most accommodating couple. The food was outstanding and the rich family history was fascinating. They helped with our arrangements to do a dog sledding adventure that was also phenomenal. We would all...

We have stayed at B&B's all across the country. Pinehurst was immaculate, rooms were huge, well decorated and comfortable. The micro fiber sheets were the softest we have experienced. Inn keeper really focused on the details from gourmet breakfast to helping with places to see. It's a great base of operation for all your Bayfield excursions. We will return in...

We were looking for relaxing and comfortable lodging for a quiet weekend away. We found those things and some. Innkeepers Steve and Nancy have clearly poured into their livelihood a sense of beauty and feeling of welcomeness. Breakfasts were delicious and often featured locally sourced produce, cider and coffee. The table setting was uncomplicated with hand thrown pottery, linens and...

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Pinehurst Inn after Labor Day. Unfortunately, we only had time to stay overnight, but we made the most of our Bayfield visit. The Birches room, located in an adjacent building, was lovely and well appointed. I was a little disappointed that the coffee that was delivered to the house, in the morning,...

We had the pleasure of spending a night at the Pinehurst Inn on the night of Oct. 5th on Hollys room. The room was very nice, the inn was very nice but more importantly the hospitality of the owners was exceptional. We have already told a number of our friends and relatives about it and encouraged them to try the...

We stayed here over a weekend and really enjoyed our visit. The property is beautiful and rich in history. The room and common areas were comfortable, with amenities that provided what we needed. There is a clear commitment to recycling, environmentally friendly practices, and sustainability that we appreciated greatly. The breakfasts were a bit heavy on bread/carbs (cornbread, fruit, juice,...

Very disappointed in our room. The threshold into the bathroom was uneven making it difficult to be barefooted because you would stub your toes. Shower in bedroom was difficult and hard to get into. The breakfasts were nicely served in a beautiful dining room. The house is 130 years old. Innkeepers seemed tired, must have been a long season. Pricey!

We do appreciate you making the effort to post a review on Pinehurst Inn. We learn from every review posted, whether positive or negative and realize there is always room for improvement. Yes, our house is 130 years old, and as such making the adjustments and remodels to accommodate our guests needs (i.e. private bathroom) is challenging. We will review...
