We loved staying at the Old Rittenhouse Inn. Stayed in room XI. It was so nice. We went during the slow time of the year, so not all the shops were open, but it also meant less people and more quiet. The staff was wonderful and the food was AMAZING!! We are putting this on our list of favorites!

I took my girlfriend to stay at the Rittenhouse for our first B&B experience. The houses (Old Rittenhouse and Le Chateau) were stunning. Incredible, authentic, back-in-time atmosphere and architecture. We loved the in-room bathroom facilities, natural fireplace, and hot tub. We also really liked that there were no modern distractions such as a TV and telephone! Unbelievably, gracious and charming...

My husband and I traveled from Madison to stay at the Old Rittenhouse Inn for a weekend in February and we had a wonderful time. We loved our room, the amazing breakfasts, the incredible customer service, and the activities in the area (cross country and down hill skiing, hiking to see the ice caves from above, etc.). We would highly...

We love the Rittenhouse. Bayfield and the Rittenhouse we're our first trip in the northern Midwest after moving to Chicago. We came back a few weeks ago to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. Rooms: Lovely, stately, old-fashioned charm. Comfy bed, beautiful views, warm fireplace, antique furniture...if you need to get away from stress and the insanity of over-connectivity, this is the...

My husband and I booked our stay at the Rittenhouse for our 25th wedding anniversary and booked it with the dog sledding adventure. It was a wonderful stay, everything perfect. I will say that this was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and it's really not our type of travel. I'm glad we tried it and we can...

I have visited and dined here many times over the last twenty years and always find something that makes my visit special. The service is outstanding and everyone is always smiling, even the new employees.

My husband and I spent three nights in Room 9 last week. We were warmly greeted with great attention to all the details--room, dining, attractions. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The included breakfasts were delicious and the portions were generous. Dinner at the Landmark was amazing, our server, the fabulous food, and the leisure pace made...

We went in February so the town was a bit sleepy but it was nice because we had the whole house to ourselves, except one other couple. Food was excellent and the service was too! We were able to switch rooms with a better view with no issues.

We came up for a one night visit from the Twin Cities. It was definitely worth the trip! We stayed in the beautiful Moroccan room. The colors were warm and cozy. Dinner and breakfast were both very good.
