My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights starting our California honeymoon. It was great. Clean room with excellent service throughout hotel. Complementary champagne also kicked off our special trip and was very much appreciated. Very good coffee in the morning to!

I always appreciate Kimpton's excellent value and customer service and Hotel Monaco was no exception. The room was large by downtown SFO standards and the décor added to the roomy feel. Housekeeping was not as thorough as I would have liked but overall the rooms and public areas are very well kept and do not look worn. A very nice...

I stayed in this hotel from 4/9-4/11 2014, and was upgraded as I checked-in (great start!). I received an amazing room - the best I ever had, with 2 big rooms - a living room and a sleeping room. The living room was very spacious, with a big window - looking at the street. I had one issue in the...

Daniel was at the reception - he could not have been better, I was so impressed I commended him to the floor manager. Everyone we had contact with could not have been more pleasant. I like kimpton properties. The free wifi, the free wine at happy hour and the nice restaurant on property are cool. Had a good breakfast at the restaurant. Service was good. I like how every kimpton hotel has a unique story / theme. The room was trendy, well decorated and comfortable. The location of the hotel is good. There are...

First, we got a room upgrade because it was my birthday. I requested a room with a great view and we were on the highest floor with...

Stayed at the Monaco on our first trip to San Francisco August 2012. It's in an old building right downtown that's been beautifully renovated. Room was great as are the amenities and service. Staff was fantastic and gave us pointers on getting around town, including Honey Honey a nearby eatery great for breakfast. On site restaurant is superb and the...

A very good mid priced hotel convenient for most of San Francisco and just a couple of blocks walk from Union Square. Free coffee in the morning and a free wine hour in the late afternoon were welcome attractions. My room was comfortable and they gave me a kettle to make tea,. Staff were helpful and friendly, I would stay...
