Our first visit to San Francisco and our Travel Agent booked us into the Executive Hotel Vintage Court. We were unsure of what the accommodation would be like but we were more than impressed with our room after being told by our daughter and son-in-law that their room in another hotel was very poky. We had plenty of room to...

We've been staying at Vintage Court for years. It has been redone and is very comfortable and nice. The rooms are not large, but they are not too small either. Public Parking is a block away, and is discounted for the hotel. They serve wine in the lobby every afternoon, which is nice and cozy and has a fireplace. The...

I was nervous after reading the reviews, but IMHO, those people are too picky. From the reservationists, to housekeeping, to the man with the complimentary wine, they were all extremely nice and helpful. It's price and location is what sold me. I can't comment on parking or the food, because I didn't use either. But I can say that my...

Cons - The first room we were taken to smelled like old sewage infiltrated into the carpets. The second room had a less than wonderful smell which made us realize its the carpets. The 2 lamps at the bedside do not work so in this very small cramped room we dodge furniture to get to bed in the dark. Pros...

I am currently staying at this hotel. Completely unacceptable! I was moved from a room to a different room because of the horrible smell in the first room. This new room also smells really bad and it really isn't what was advertised when I booked it via hotels.com. Save money and go elsewhere. There are many options in this neighborhood...

This hotel was perfect for our stay in the city. It's only a couple of blocks from Union Square so very handy for shops, restuarants, and the famous Powell & Hyde tram on the door step. It was easy to find and for a city centre hotel a very reasonable price. The down side is no easy local parking so...

I read all the positive reviews from this site before I decided on this hotel. We booked a hotel with two beds as my friend and I were touring SF for 3 days. What I didn’t read (maybe I missed it) from the reviews is that this hotel is on the hilly side or upper side of Union Square. This...

After 5 star at the Aria in Vegas this 3 star SF hotel was a bit of a shock, considering they were charging about the same price per night. We all know SF is historic and with lots of character but that shouldn't mean the hotels don't need to keep their properties facilities modern. Old fashioned air cons sticking out...

Stayed at Vintage Court many times over the last 10 years. Fantastic location, nice cozy hotel with helpful staff. Love the daily wine and cheese in their lobby which feels like a living room. If you are visiting city sites only, no need for a car .. close to Union Sq and cable car lines. If you have a car,...

Dear Karen W: Thank for your recent stay and the post that once again our hotel was your go to place to stay while you visit San Francisco. Good post on the parking options too, as our location is super, but if one has a car then parking options are close by. Hope to see you again in the near...

Breakfast was $12, very reasonable for what was offered. Happy to store our bags before departure, and delivered our bags to our room on arrival while we went to drop off the rental car. Room a bit on the small side, but it is handy to Union Square!

Dear Recent Guest, Thanks for the great review on your stay at the Executive Hotel Vintage Court. Great to know our hotel staff were at your service to store your luggage and direct you to your rental car drop off/pickup location. Although our rooms from your stay appear small, our hotel built in the early 1900's offers very adequate space...

As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
