Lovely hotel. Helpful staff. Would have loved a kettle or coffee maker in the room, only thing missing for me. Location perfect and loved the French restaurant next door. I would definitely use again and recommend.

We had a short stay in SF and wanted to pack in a lot of exploring. Triton allows easy, safe, and fun walking access to China Town, the art museum, shopping, restaurants, etc. No car is necessary here. Staff is friendly-casual and very helpful with requests and recommendations. It's an old hotel; rooms are a bit small so you'll probably...

This hotel was probably the best hotel we have stayed at in San Fran. The staff felt like family, the rooms were hip and clean. The location could not of been better. Café de la Presse next door was visited often. Will definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Triton! The room was clean. The location was great, right in front of the entrance to Chinatown! The staff were nice and helpful! Would stay at this hotel again in the future!

I stayed here with my boyfriend and we never really had to take transit anywhere. We walked almost everywhere we went - whether it was the main square or beach side. The hotel staff were always available and easy to approach. The WiFi was not always easy to use (less easy when you were in your room vs. in the...

Needed a hotel close to the Financial District for a 2 day business trip that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Very pleased by the value and location of Hotel Triton. This is an older property that has been renovated. The rooms are small but fine for one person. Sink is in the room hallway next to the closet,...

After much searching I picked this hotel for a special night out for my Daughter's 16th Birthday specifically for their Haagen Daz "Sweet Suite." I reserved the suite 4 months in advance and confirmed the room with the hotel 4 days in advance. I was even in contact with their concierge to get some flowers for the room (which I...

I was visiting San Francisco for a long weekend and only needed to book a 1 night stay for the last night of our trip. I came across Hotel Triton through Groupon which had great reviews. This hotel was previously owned by Kimpton hotels. It's a boutique hotel that is aging and starting to get run down, but you get...

The welcoming staff of the Hotel Triton is the first distinguished feature of this nice older hotel adjacent to Chinatown and close to Union Square. The rooms are updated, pleasant and have amenities such as a mini-bar. Restaurants and shopping are close by and we can recommend the Hotel Triton as a cost effective place to stay.

“Rooms are not big, but if you are in San Francisco to explore, it won't matter. It's really fun to people watch from the windows -- we had a clear view of the gate to China Town.”
