The property was a welcome, clean, sanitized, and safe environment during a difficult time. My only negative is that there was no coffee pot or microwave in the room but that might be due to the current pandemic; I don't know what is customary. I would give it a 5-star rating for a hotel in its category (it's not swank but doesn't pretend to be) otherwise.
I felt at every opportunity the staff were mindful, present, helpful and courteous and went well above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of and had an excellent stay. It's a family run business. Apparently, hospitality is in their blood.
A friend once referred me to this place to try it out but being all optimistic and doubtive I had to tell him not interested till earlier dz month I went with friends to try it out and I was wowed by what I saw it looks great and exquisite I couldn't also help but share to the public.. Currently am still here having fun with friends
We stayed 2 nights in early March 2020 and found it very conveniently located. The young lady at the front desk, Angelina, was so helpful in advising us how to get around the city and places to dine. It is an older hotel but our room was spacious and clean. The only negative is the parking. The small lot has only one entrance/exit and is fairly narrow. We were in a pickup so we had to back out of the lot when we used it--not enough room to turn around. Ended up parking in one of the 2 spots behind the office area. We enjoyed our stay in SF and would recommend this hotel.
My experience at that hotel was less than poor. I will list the issues I had during the nights I had to spend there and I apologize in advance if I am graphic with some issues but I need to call things for their name. 1. First day I showered there I found pubic hair on more than one towel. (Tuesday, February 25th) 2. Same day I found hairs on the walls of the shower. 3. The shower floor was super slippery. I slipped (didn’t fall) twice. Didn’t ask for a anti-slip mat because after seeing the poor hygiene they had, I was scared of them giving me one with mold on it. 4. The plug in the restroom didn’t work. 5. The hair dryer didn’t work. 6. The AC/Heating unit was extremely loud. 7. I woke up with a horrible migraine on Wednesday at 3:30 am and needed to take my medicine, no water in the room, so I adventured to open the fridge and Surprise!!! … I found a bag with a sandwich, another bag with food and a beer in there (needless to say that was not mine). So I called the front desk to ask for water and the lady told me to drink tap water because in San Francisco was very safe to drink from the tap. I checked the paper cups and all “sealed” cups were not sealed… the bags were opened. At that point didn’t really know if it was even safe to pour water on those cups.…
