We stayed for 3 nights and this was a great choice. The location was conveniently located in San Francisco, and we walked to Chinatown and Union Square among other destinations. We ate breakfast on property each morning and it was very good. We went to the bar each evening for cocktails before heading out to dinner and it had a great atmosphere. The hotel is really upscale and what you would expect from a Ritz Carlton from service, furnishings, and food. I will definitely return here on my next trip to SF.
What a wonderful weekend stay we had here with our kids before COVID shut everything down. We stayed on the club floor and I have to agree with the others here - this is the best club lounge I've experienced from a Ritz in the US. The concierges were unbelievable and the attention from the staff was so thoughtful. We were traveling with two young kids and everyone was so kind to them. I really appreciated everyone going the extra mile to make the kids' trip special. There was a minor hiccup at check-in where the hotel had neglected the Ritz Kids welcome, but they more than made up for it by sending up a platter of cookies and a personalized note. Aaron, Anna & Jinyoung should be commended for their excellent service. Also, the doorman, Mark Freehling, was so exceptionally kind to my 6-year-old son as he completed the hotel's scavenger hunt and he felt so special when Mark gave him his card. Thank you so much to everyone who made our stay so lovely!…
I am long overdue in this review. I stayed at the SF Ritz-Carlton in Feb and March before the covid crisis kicked in. The club level lounge is the best I've ever experienced in the US. I am used to very nice lounges in Asia, and am always disappointed in US, but not this time. The food and drinks were excellent, and the ambience was lovely. Rudy the concierge was so kind and helpful, and genuinely friendly, a true hospitality professional. The rooms could use some renovations, but were comfortable and I liked that they were on the same level as the club. I hope to be able to return as soon as possible, and hoping the Ritz-Carlton team members are all doing well doing despite these difficult times.
Loved our time here. The hotel is perfectly located, it is fairly close to Chinatown, and within a walking distance to the Union Square. The rooms are peaceful and spacious. Very good view from the rooms. Very kind and friendly staff there, didn't eat there, so can't commend on the food. Overall it's a good stay
We stayed here for two nights. The location is great since you can literally walk everywhere. A special mention goes to the staff. We were not happy with our room and the staff were very accommodating in showing us other rooms that were available until we decided on one we liked. Also, we would like to mention the extensive knowledge of the city the staff has. We were interested in Art, Movies, Food and Sightseeing since we wanted to experience as much as possible in this short time. The recommendations were spot on every single time. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
