I have never stayed at a hotel with quite as much charm as this one. It looks like it was built at the turn of the century. And very well maintained. The hotel was clean and very functional. I was on business and this hotel gave me the best rate at the time. It was fine. More suited for a...

This is a dump. Period. Booked this hotel through an online service because of the pictures. I knew once I past the multiple homeless encampments something wasn't quite right. Once inside the hotel I thought I was in the 1800 era of San Francisco or on an episode of Gunsmoke. I asked to see the room before I checked in...

I have bathed in the amazing pieces of art known as clawfoot bathtubs before and the Hotel Majestic is the best place in northern California to bathe in one. The price is affordable and most of the rooms have them. I stayed in Room 201 which was a standard room and sure the standard rooms are kind of small if...

I just came back from SF and had to write about this gem. I found it on Booking.Com for an amazing rate. After checking them out on Trip Advisor and reading the history on it (read about them on their website; they survived the 1906 earthquake/fire), I booked a 5 night stay. I was NOT disappointed! I had asked for...

My husband joined me after I spent a week in San Fran, so I booked a weekend for us here in November. I looked like what we thought we were getting, a lovely suite in a heritage hotel. I booked the reservation, I paid for the reservation and upon arrival, the man at the front desk only greeted my husband,...

This is old world charm at its best. I couldn't have been more pleased with the lobby, the staff, the dining room, and a beautiful room. We were upgraded to a suite. (It was our anniversary. Thank you.) I was thrilled. No, everything wasn't perfect, but the pluses far outweighed the minuses. Charming staff members. Helpful. And after a long...

Hotel Majestic is a classic Hotel. queen size room was small, big claw foot tub, bed was comfy. We pretty much just slept here and wandered all over the city. Sunday and Monday there is no food facilities so that was a bummer.

This classic European-inspired boutique hotel is just a short ten blocks away from the Union Square shops and restaurants of Downtown. With royal bedding draped over the four-poster beds, plush carpeting, soft seating, accent furnishings, and beautiful artwork we aspire to provide only the best for our guests! Our bathrooms are just as unique as our guest rooms! Magenta marbled wash basins, brass faucets, extra large mirrors, antique decorative lighting, textured wall coverings, and of course claw-foot tubs with full-length goose neck showers to preserve the glamour of the Majestic.
