The location was only 5-10 minutes walk to Union Square. The hotel was not new but well kept. The best part was the room. It was nice, clean and spacious. There was even a small TV in the bathroom. The staffs were friendly and nice. There was a lounge that we can have a complimentary coffee or tea but I...

The Donatello is located a few blocks from Union Square and Chinatown and has onsite parking. The room was spacious and had a sleeper sofa, kind bed and large screen TV, plus a kitchenette area. The bathroom was small and needed updating but had a television in the mirror....The thermostat in our room did not work which made the room...

Stayed here again with family of 5 (booked 2 rooms) on second visit to SF. Rooms were spacious. Staff at check-in and bellhop were friendly and fast in getting us checked in to our rooms. Location second to none. Lots of nearby restaurants, cafes and eateries. Just a block from Union Square. Within walking distance to Chinatown, SoMa and downtown...

Clean, ample rooms. Good customer service. Nice club on the 14th. Good sauna. We like this place, our second stay. One small irritation was that the concierge called two mornings in a row to see if we wanted the free breakfast they offered with the hitch of listening to a pitch for their vacation properties. Ummmm no thanks, didn't like...

My wife and I stayed at The Donatello for a week in February. While the weather wasn't great, we still enjoyed our stay. The room was large with a kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, and lots of dishes. There is a beautiful lounge on the top floor with Peet's coffee available all day. The location is close to Union Square...

We spent a week at the Donatello and were very happy we had chosen this establishment. We found the location perfect for everything we wanted to do, theaters, restaurants, major department stores, you couldn't ask for more. Purchase a pass for a tour bus and when all alround, across the Golden Gate and to Fishermans Wharf. The staff ar The...

We wanted to meet family members who were in San Francisco for a conference. However, their hotel was sold out. All nearby hotels were either sold out or overpriced due to the conference. I remembered that Shell Vacations, now under the Wyndam umbrella had the Donatello Hotel in their portfolio. I was able to secure the necessary three nights. We...

Large rooms, friendly and very serviceminded staff. Perfect location, rented bikes just nearby. Parked our car in the garage. Didn't try the breakfast. Tried the restaurant, it was overpriced, and food was good enough. But great with a restaurant in the same building.
