We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is in a great location and is modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a real bonus and there is something for everyone; from traditional US breakfast to fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereal and bagels etc. Yes, the queue can get very long ... but the team work really hard inside to get you seated asap. The longest we waited was 20 mins but other days the wait was much shorter. Would recommend this as a place to stay.
I was traveling with my teenage son and we need our separate spaces; I rent suites because it costs less than two conventional rooms and it's usually nicer. Our suite was amazing, with a view of the skyline. Conveniently located near Fisherman's Wharf, we had easy walking access to most of the things we wanted to see. Our room was very quiet, and I was surprised to see it overlooking what was a very busy pool area! I did not hear any noise. They offered an outstanding hot breakfast, packed and handed as takeout in response to COVID. This was actually the best breakfast I had in a long time. The staff were very friendly and helpful on every front - from the front desk to the food service areas to housekeeping. My one wish: more working elevators. There were three that went to the lobby and only one worked. This was very congested each morning when people were checking out and had all their luggage. Another single elevator down the hall goes to the fitness room which is on the opposite side of the driveway - we used that one more often (we couldn't find any stairs). But just FYI: this entrance did not readily appear to be handicapped accessible. From what I could see, one would need to walk down three or four steps to get outside. The decor was modern and eye-pleasing, and the entire property was very clean. The property was close to many conveniences such as grocers and restaurants. We walked everywhere and got to see such places as Telegraph Hill, Lombard Street, Chinatown, Pier 39 & the infamous California Sea Lions, Alcatraz, etc.…
Nice hotel with serviceminded stuff. Clean and god rooms. Only thing that breakfast room was to small and a little noicy. There was a long queue Very morning. Otherwise the hotel was Very well located and the breakfast was the best ever.
The hotel is located very conveniently right at Fisherman’s Wharf. Very friendly staff and nice clean rooms. The kids just loved the breakfast. There was a queue for breakfast in the morning but waiting times were no longer than 15-20 mins before being seated.
We chose this hotel due to its location in Fisherman’s Wharf. Great hotel and as many have said the breakfast is fantastic. Yes the lines are long at peak times but the breakfast staff are very efficient and cleared tables very quickly. There are bus stops by the hotel and cable car stops close by. Also great location for the ferry to Alcatraz and Sausalito. There are places to eat close by, lots on Pier 39 which is a 5 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend!
This hotel was a godsend… I moved here after spending 1 night in another hotel that was terrible.it felt safe and was in a good location to fisherman’s wharf… you would need taxis or trams to travel into union square location
The best thing about this hotel is the location. The second best is the breakfast. Although the line was very long, the staff were very efficient in getting everything through. The food was very good. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The only thing I disliked was the resort fee as they called it. We did not use any of the facilities like pool or gym or parking. The hotel rate included the breakfast but I felt like this was an extra charge for the food.
A great hotel to experience all that SF has to offer. There were four of us in our room, my husband and I travelling with our teenage sons - room was plenty spacious for the four of us. Beds were comfortable and room very clean. Great location near Fisherman’s Wharf. Breakfast here was excellent - staff were so lovely and welcoming and worked so hard. Excellent breakfast choices but it does get busy - we had to queue for the 3 mornings we had breakfast but the queues go down quick and staff are very accommodating. We all really liked this hotel - I would have given 5 stars but taken a star off for the extremely expensive bar drinks! Just obscene and felt like we were ripped off!
The hotel itself is ok...rooms are nice and have been renovated...parking is ridiculously expensive, front desk service is terrible..location is good if you like to be around the piers and wharfs..I would not stay here again. Very disappointing!
Perfect location for all attractions in the area! Staff very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast every morning was amazing and quite substantial! We were in a quiet hallway. Bathrooms small but adequate for two people. Basic amenities in room.
