My husband and I met our adult son for a weekend in San Francisco, where we travel often. Rather than booking rooms at Cavallo Point, we chose this Hilton for its central location and because we enjoyed a pleasant stay here a few years ago. BIG mistake. Like most big-city Hiltons, this place is highly impersonal and frenetically busy all...

We loved the rooms and the location. Breakfast spread was good. We didn't have too many meals in Hilton so can't comment much about the others. Their cafe food was also nice. There is a Pakistani restaurant right opposite to Hilton. Have never had better naan and chicken in my life. It's a must try if you like spicy food....

This Hilton is average at best: although the bathrooms have been refurbished to a good standard most of the hotel looks tired (example: holes in the curtain). The hotel is basically a convention center as the scale of the hotel is massive (3 towers with a large number of ball rooms). The best asset of the hotel is its location:...

Pros: -good location. You can walk to many places. -Very clean room -My room seemed recently renovated -Price seemed reasonable for SF -Pool Cons: -There was a conference here so it was extremely busy. So much that taking an elevator was a chore. -While room seemed renovated it was still a little dated (e.g shower/tub combo)

I get it, there are cancellation policies for a reason and I did call late. I don't know how those of you that travel constantly for work keep it all together. Between the car rentals, traffic, where am I going, flight cancellations it seems like my "A game" is no longer achievable. So we experienced a flight cancellation and it...

I paid for my stay with a third party and they didn't provide me the upgraded room I had requested. So, I called Hilton and spoke with Alex and WOW- he was truly fantastic. Not only did he help me upgrade my room right away, but he was kind, provided insight as to what the weather will be like when...

An efficient and clean hotel with a solid location in the city; access to the BART trains (AKA the subway) and busses allowed for easy travel throughout the city. I don't have a single complaint about the room, everything was orderly and the view from the balcony is stunning if you get a balcony room. I know we'll be returning...

Went for a girlfriends St Patrick's Day/Weekend. The room was large and the view was amazing! So close to Union Square, restaurants, theater district, pubs - something for everyone. The staff was awesome. Safe area to walk and everything is so convenient.

You have a million choices in San Francisco and although this is a great location, there are others in the area. Every single person I encountered had a smile on their face and exuded customer service! That's what made my stay. On a random note for anyone who visits Herb & Kitchen there you've got to try their mochi (it's...

I recently stayed at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square for a conference. It was conveniently located and a relatively short drive from the airport. The location is within walking distance of great shopping and dining, plus attractions. Make sure you check with the concierge for directions. If you go several blocks in the wrong direction, you get into some...
