The location of this hotel is what made us book in the first place and it was ideal for getting round the city and everything we had planned. However, our experience at The Mosser was impacted before we even arrived. Days before arriving we received...More
No real complaints but just know its no bathroom in your room so be prepared to share a couple of toilets and showers with a entire floor. But it is in a good location and they kept the shared areas clean.
The rooms are too small. I mean extremly small. It means there is less than 2 feet around the bed, no place for clothes, not a garderobe.
The breakfast isn't exist. There is coffe and two types of small cakes. Noting else is avaiable. There...More
Hotel is very clean great central location and they have great customer service Not sure how anyone has had any issues here. Staff very eager to help and give suggestions in the area. Tons of shopping and restaurants right out side the door.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.

Sorry, We take advantage of the bay area's excellent public transport, BART. and as mentioned the Powell station is close. around $10 a person/trip. From the Mosser it's a great walk to Coit tower, down through telegraph hill on stairs and ramps that go between quaint neighborhood then to pier 23 Cafe for tasty eats. We were there in crab season. if not the bloody mary's were good at the bar.
