Hotel was as we remember pre COVID. Great staff, Terrific room, very good work out room, and was even surprise by a Peloton Bike this time! Wonderfully located. The only disappointment was that the resturant hadn’t opened yet, though they provided a great room service breakfast and the bar/bistro was open as well. A lovely place to stay!
Lifetime memorable experience in line with my experience in Taj Hotels for more than 20 years. It was, as usual, a world class experience right from hassle free booking , warm check in even very late night, handling my luggage with utmost care, placing them appropriately in the room, getting an extra stand for the bulky suitcase, service of the breakfast within minutes of placing orders, quickly responding to the requirements in the room from time to time, service at the bar and reasturant with care and concern and finally seamless checkout experience was truly out of the world.
When you stay at a high end hotel, you expect to be accommodated. It was 10:30 pm and the evening in room dining service says you can order room service till 11:00 pm. I was told that I could not. I will not be staying here again. This isn't the type of service I expect from a 2 star location, much less what is supposed to be 5 star. The employee that didn't help me is named Tyler.
Booked this hotel via Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts. Service was spectacular and food was good. I loved the layout of the rooms and the small amenities. Highly recommended. We ordered room service and it was on-time and delicious.
White glove service in all aspects. The staff was truly kind, helpful and made us feel at home. From Edwin upon our arrival, to the entire front desk crew and housekeeping. Thank you for helping me celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday with class and style.
Overall a great place to stay, the concierge guys are really fab and ever ready to help. John and Dan in particular, Its in a really convenient location and very near to a lot of sights and services. Would stay again there for sure
I had booked the hotel so my kids could take a nap. We were checked in, kids waiting in lobby with me and our nanny. As kids were about to go to sleep( I have 3 daughters) Suzanne- the acting GM, knocked on the door and told my nanny she would have to escort all of them out because too many people were in the room. As you can imagine, I was livid. Why had the hotel not told us during check in? She done said there were seven people in the room, speaking about guests that had come up to use the restroom and help drop something off. For such a high level hotel, the level of customer service was absolutely ludicrous. Then they made me pay more to change rooms. This is all during the time that my kids should have been napping. They completely ruined my plans. It threw off our day and left a horrible taste about the hotel. I have never experienced such bad customer service at a supposed 5 star.…
I booked the room though my Amex concierge. It was supposed to be a fine hotel and resort but I’ve stayed in a holiday inn express that was nicer. I literally walked in saw the room and left to find another hotel that was better. I ended up staying at the Grand Hyatt across the street. Even though I was in the room for less than 30 seconds I was still charged for a night which I didn’t care I still would not sleep there. It’s also advertised that their restaurants are open, unless you get room service no restaurant advertised is open. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve been to.
The design of the hotel places elevators on a 1/2 floor below the floor where the rooms are so I did not hear any activity. Welcoming staff and cleanliness of the hotel made this 4-night stay a 10! The windows open enough to enjoy the San Francisco air.
It was a great experience….. the staff was very friendly and service was very quick….. food was great… were so happy to see poha in the food menu.. room is very good and room service is no less than excellent..
