Excellent location, service, accommodations walking distance to The Wharf, North Beach and so much more! Take advantage of great rates during January! The Eclipse Restaurant is very good, with nice choices and great service. You won't be disappointed in your stay at this Hyatt.

Loved this hotel! Location was awesome! All the transportation stopped right outside! Never heard our neighbors. Room was big with lots of storage and being able to drink the water was a bonus! I highly recommend it! The only downsides were the toilet was thin and the toilets were weak flushers but minor things that are easily overlooked. This is...

We were here for a week back in may, our stay was wonderful, the location is great if you're coming from the airport its a quick door to door shot on the bart which saves allot of money on airport shuttles. I'm a frequent Hyatt traveler so I have a general idea of what to expect but the staff at...

Overall our stay was good. The rooms are small for a family of 4. The only complaint was outrageous parking fee of $71/day. The location was good with easy access to transportation. Food was good but not a real value.

Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you had a good time during your stay in San Francisco. Parking can be expensive in the city due to the limited space available in downtown. We do apologize for the disappointment. Should your travel brings you back, please consider our Park and Play package or self parking option in...

A sightseeing weekend for the family was great! The hotel is a perfect spot to stay- view of the city lights or the bay bridge, across from the ferry building for good eats and drinks, you can catch a cable car just outside, can walk to Chinatown and lots of great restaurants. We loved the hotel's atmosphere and the staff...

Ask yourself what's more important: how the hotel and your room looks or its location. Location-wise: it's perfect. It's 1 block away from the BART station, trolleys are right across the front entrance, Ferry Building is across the street, the Exploratorium is a few piers down and Chinatown is a walking distance. Appearance-wise: although the architecture is impressive, there's a...

Great location and service. Very clean rooms with a little bit of a view of the bay. The bay view room was ample size. I would request to have a room close to the elevators though because you could have a long walk to them if you have some of the corner rooms. The hotel staff was very helpful with...

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
