The hotel is in a great location and has a very grand lobby. The rooms were clean and spacious and the balcony view was amazing. The concierge, Nadine, made our trip even more memorable by finding us a great driver and making last minute reservations at a few Napa valley wineries. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.
Great location! Really big, beautiful hotel. Wow factor when you walk in. Expensive breakfast ($35 for buffet) No pool Great balconies and bay view rooms Amazing, friendly staff- parking, bellman, check in, cleaning The only troubles is calling the hotel (from your personal cell)-- they take forever to answer!.. If you call from your room, they answer right away Hotel is under construction currently. Half of the rooms are out of operations-- asbestos, dust, toxic paint fumes.. be prepared for that + noise starting at 7/8am
The overall location is perfect. The Port building across the street and middle location to both the Fisherman’s Wharf and Oracle Park make it easy to navigate. The only problem is that there isn’t many close portions for food or bars on the weekend. Hotel is a classic and is a must stay for anyone visiting!!
The Hyatt Embarcadero is located in an ideal location in downtown San Francisco. The train from the airport (BART $10 each way, 30 minutes) stops at the hotel. Additionally, public buses, streetcars and cable cars are located adjacent to the hotel. My room was clean and beds were comfortable. The room did not include a microwave, but was provided upon request. The only negative that I had with the hotel was the prices for dining or snacks. The prices were quite expensive. I would suggest the Delancey Street Restaurant (2 subway stations away) for dining.
we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel inner design is beautiful and has a calming, zen feel. Location is great. Away from the crazy crowds but easy access to everything. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and freshly renovated (still smelled "new"). Great restaurant suggestion (go to International Smoke for dinner)!
We are from the Bay Area and were traveling with toddlers for a weekend staycation in the city. This was a great location. We were pleasantly surprised by the updated decor. We will likely return to the same hotel in the near future. Generally, we don’t like amenity/resort fees ($25 plus tax), but you do get things in this case (free movie, $15 food credit, souvenir for the kids, etc)
My overall experience was better than expected for nearly every metric. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The building's architecture is amazing. I also wish trip advisor didn't require 200 character minimum reviews.
Hotel itself is excellent, Area around the hotel has changed dramtically This area of the City has experienced a massive exodus Aggressive homeless & car break in's are the norm in area We did Hotel Valet - Lots of reviews complained about cost - but we did not get car broken into! (FYI -according to Law Enforcement friend you have 65/70 % chance of your car getting broken into in SF currently) Hotel is under remodel but did not affect our stay Staff very friendly & helpful One of a kind aritecture Good food adjacent to hotel at Sens & One Market Resturants Hyatt Breakfast buffet excellent Sat AM ferry building Farmers Market is awesome If you want to access this part of the city the Hyatt SF is an excellent choice - would stay here again!
This was a wonderful location conveniently located across from the Ferry Building with amazing views of the water and Bay Bridge. Lots of good restaurant choices nearby. It was centrally located for what we needed for this trip. Rooms were spacious, clean and updated. The only complaint is that valet parking is expensive and self-parking has no in and out privileges. We will stay here again if in the area.
Stayed for San Francisco Marathon 2022 time frame, staying with the family. Can't add much to what the hotel itself already projects. And the actual experience test validate its offering. Everything happening in between check-in to last moment of check-out being attended by its staff without second question. As one remakr, this time visit the room felt cleaner and better maintained than past staying. And not sure if it is the time of visit, the elevator was having bottle neck issues as waiting timie is longer than in past visist in same context. And another new thing I experienced, the hotel doesn't plance the paper invoice under the door on check-out night and changed to Hyatt's App self-checkout process. Hence unless you approach to the lobby's desk you can't tell what is the charge and if you are not fan of using their app. Except of described subject, during the staying if anything is needed the staf kindly has listened and provided supportive help that somehow enhance everything I would say. As result hats off to their staff.…
