Stayed here for a conference on site being the only person attending from my office. The location worked great for a solo female traveler being right at Chinatown and close to bakeries, dim sum take outs and restaurants where eating by yourself is not that weird. The hotel room, amenities and staff are nice, but there are quite a few...

Dear GlobalCitizen07, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are pleased that our location, accommodations, and staff made a good impression on your visit to San Francisco. We are sorry to hear you experienced any prolonged wait for the elevators, and that you have concern about your credit card from the towncar driver. I assure you that the phone app...

Good location close to many attractions. The exec Lounge is not so great, poor breakfast, but quite good happy hour although beer and wine is supposed to be charged 5 USD each. Lounge was dirty, seems no regular clean up. You cannot check in or out there as usual as in Hilton hotels in Europe, hence only 4 stars. Good...

Great location near Chinatown and walking distance to every tourist place you can think of. We stayed on the 20th floor during Chinese New Year. Of course, fireworks was blasting left and right at night during the wee hours of the morning, but it didn't bother our sleep at all. The staff were friendly and we had a beautiful view...

Dear AnonymousGZ, Thank you for your review. We are happy you were able to stay with us during the Chinese New Year festivities, and that the typical barrage of fireworks didn’t disturb you all. We hope you can stay with us again next time to celebrate the year of the Monkey! Best, Michael Van michael.van@hilton.com

I would highly recommend staying at this Hilton if you are a tourist visiting San Francisco. Everything was great and was well worth the money. If possible, try to get an executive lounge room. This includes a lounge that provides breakfast in the morning and hourderves in the afternoon. Also, the bayview side rooms have an incredible view. The view...

This hotel is in a excellent location. Very close to major attraction, footsteps to Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy) and walking distance from Fisherman's Warf, Union Square, Embarcadero, Ferry Bldg and other places. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at the 26 floor Executive floor, had a stunning view. Double bed room was clean and spacious enough for...

Had booked a double room. Checked in and was given a tiny room, with the smallest bed I have ever seen. Bed seemed to be set up for a single person, with one central pillow. Although this hotel is in a location which is suitable to get to most places you want to visit whilst in San Francisco on foot, there are quite a few homeless people hanging around the area which may be intimidating for some. The hotel is clean and the staff were all friendly and polite.

I have stayed at Hiltons all over the world, and other five star establishments for that matter. The Hilton Financial District in San Francisco was mediocre at best. The rooms were small and hot. Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
