Avoid this place. Too many room problems with things not working properly. Infested with ants and loud and noisy from traffic off Lombard Street. Not worth any price to pay as this place is too dingy and needs a good clean up and renovation. The...More

We booked online for ONE night, but when we arrived we were beyond grossed out by the service and setting we decided not to check-in or stay at all. Next thing I know, my credit card was charged for TWO nights. We had cancelled our...More

I'm disappointed to hear that the exterior of our building let us down to such an extent, and that you decided that our property was unsuitable for your needs without looking at your room. We will ensure that this entire area is tidied up as...More
The place is decadent, the refrigerator in the room had mold and it smells, there's a lot of noise, you can hear all the cars passing in the street.
The carpet is full of dust, and impregnated with food from past guests.More

We didn't have high expectations considering the price we paid, however it was far worse than anyone should put up considering the price it costs anyway.
The rooms are very old fashioned and drab, which is fine to deal with however there is damage to...More
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.

With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.

I didn't encounter bed bugs but the hotel is not one that I will ever stay at again. There is no breakfast, just some white bread and some packaged danishes. The room was dirty and doesn't have AC. I would recommend canceling the booking and finding other accommodations. San Francisco is an expensive city but there has to be better places to stay than The Presidio. We were talking to a couple that was on the same cruise as us and had stayed near the city to sight see, they found a hotel near the airport that did provide a breakfast and complimentary shuttle service to the city. The next time I visit I will be looking at that option.
I hope this helps.
