I spent Christmas week at the hotel and from the moment I walked into the hotel late at night after grueling east coast to west coast flights and layovers I felt immediately at home. The hotel was welcoming and cheery and tastefully decorated for the holidays. My suite was a delight and very comfortable. I must commend the staff for the attention to detail that they exhibited. It was wonderful to walk into my suite with snacks and drinks waiting. The bed is comfortable and there is a pillow menu for your comfort. They have managed to deliver five star service and food even during the pandemic. The breakfast menu is extensive and you get it promptly delivered to your room at the time you request. The afternoon nibbles and drinks are a welcome addition and coming home after spending the evening with family the chocolate covered shortbread cookies were fun! The staff is wonderful and always welcomes you back by name even if you have been out for just a few hours. There is Coffee and tea in the lounge all day long and while you could not sit inside (because there was no inside dining during Christmas) they had lovely tables and chairs outside. My family lives two blocks away and this is my new go to place when I visit - I am headed back next month and am looking forward to it immensely.

Hotel's Favourite
Such a beautiful hotel, we chose to stay here as it was in the nicer part of SF and we were visiting from London for three nights. The surrounding areas have some beautiful houses and feel very safe. The service in the hotel was fabulous from start to finish and nothing was too difficult for the staff. We used the hotel bicycles, chauffeur service, dvd hire, valet/parking (all included within price). Continental breakfast had an amazing choice of healthy breakfast smoothies, salmon, eggs, pastries, porridge (everything you could ask for!). We also visited the wine reception, which is way more than just a wine reception! It had amazing nibbles and a great selection of wines. Cookies served in the afternoon in the lounge were also delicious (yes - we really made use of everything!). Lovely bvlgari toiletries, pillow menus and homemade Drisco shortbread biscuits in your room every day. My only regret was staying at this hotel at the start of our California road trip, the standards at this hotel are so high nothing comes close!

We spent Christmas week at the Drisco and can't extoll the hotel's excellence high enough. Despite COVID limitations, they found a way to make us feel cared for and safe. The personal service was wonderful , the rooms were well appointed and we were lucky to have a beautiful view and sunlight pouring through our windows daily. The room service was also top level, prompt and delicious. Long may this fine hotel thrive in San Francisco. We have stayed many places in San Francisco -- but going forward, we will only stay at the Drisco.

Absolutely wonderful comfortable hotel situated in a beautiful quiet section of San Francisco with Beautiful Views of the City. Safe surroundings in a wonderful residential neighborhood. Beautiful recently remodeled rooms with large windows that open to the fresh breezes crossing Pacific Heights. We felt like we were living in one of the Mansions that surround the hotel. Staff and service is outstanding. Bedding and beds extremely comfortable, they even have a pillow menu for your comfort during your stay. They have this amazing sound machine that provides the sounds of a Sea Shore or Fireplace to create a totally relaxing environment. Large bathrooms with heated floors add to the overall feeling of warmth and comfort.. Complete Coffee gourmet Tea Selection and small refrigerator provided in every room.. Only issue is parking but staff is helpful.

Elegant boutique hotel....perfect for a shelter-in-place getaway! Our room had a wonderful view of SF and the bay. Comfortable bed with a pillow menu and lots of lovely treats! They accommodated their usual wine reception by bringing it to our room so we didn't need to worry about social distance. Presidio Park is an easy walk from the hotel for a stroll down Lovers Lane. It was a romantic way to spend our anniversary.
