We booked a room last minute as our travel plans changed. The location was perfect for all we hoped to do during our 36 hours in San Francisco and the room was adequate and clean. Coffee and tea service in the lobby was appreciated as well as the tips and assistance from the desk staff. For basic, cost-conscious traveler this...

Dear Run2Ski, Sometimes unplanned detours can present fantastic experiences while on vacation. I for one am appreciative that you found us and we were able to participate in your time away. I, like the rest of my staff, enjoy giving guests tips on where to go and what to see. While there are the homeless that congregate around our block...

The hotel is overall ok for a short stay and if you are not going to spend much time inside your room. The location is great, close to transportation and can walk around easily. The staff is helpful and the room is clean. The downside of it that there are a lot lot of homeless people around it, especially in...

The room was very cleaned, friendly staffs, welcoming, a comfortable bed, great location, just a few minute walk from Pawell st station. The big problem was that loud and strange noise waked me up in the morning at around 7am. It was like that someone strongly knocked on the vent in the garret such as construction. That noise was continued...

Dear Sally M., I am so sorry that there was an unexpected banging that woke you. I will have to check with my team on that. Thank you for the wonderful words that you had about our room readiness, staff and location. Just as in real estate, being a hotel in San Francisco is all about, "location, location, location." It...

The room was spartan but certainly clean and comfortable. There was noise outside at night from homeless people on an adjacent street. Given the price and the clean comfortable room this hotel is a very good deal.

Dear Gordana, Thank you for spending your New Year's Eve with us here at Hotel Bijou. It is true that we are in the Tenderloin, but we are just feet away from downtown San Francisco and outside of the Tenderloin. The team works hard to ensure that our guests feel taken care of. Be on the lookout for our renovated...

the hotel itself was perfect for what I needed for my NYE stay. Nothing fancy. My room was clean & comfortable. The staff, especially Nanette who checked me in and Eric was incredibly helpful. Dear Derrick, Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your New Year's Eve celebrations in San Francisco. Our housekeeping team works hard to make sure that our guests are comfortable in their home away from home. Excellent location and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. It is right in the centre and a two minute walk from the many shops and tram trips. Look this little quaint hotel. Each room has its own name and I stayed in "Mrs Doubtfire". The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great. Despite there were a few homeless people, I felt quite safe and they were actually quite harmless. Will stay in this hotel again.

Dear Constance T, Mrs. Doubtfire is one of my favorite films and stars one of our Bay Area Native Sons (Mr. Williams is from Marin across the Golden Gate).
