Stayed here for three nights whilst in SF, we found the hotel a little dated and tired looking but this added to it's character, however it was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate and the wine & cheese afternoons a nice touch, a most enjoyable stay. Ideally situated for Union Square and...

We spent 4 days in this hotel. The decor and rooms are a little dated. But the staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed just before Christmas and were invited to the staff Christmas party. Santa even had gifts for the kids! It was so unexpected but great fun for our kids as we were travelling over the holiday...

It's a great location and only a couple of minutes walk to Union Square. A great base. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were spotless. It's a very old lovely building. Breakfast was simple but fresh and a great start to the day. Complimentary a Wine and Cheese in the afternoon was a nice surprise. Our room had...

Room was clean, big, and very comfortable. Every member of the staff was friendly and responsive. Very food beds. Great shower pressure. The hotel lobby is very quaint and comfortable. I had acces to a computer to print boarding passes. Only recommendation is that there be butter or packets of jelly for the breakfast rolls.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable. This is the second time I've stayed at the Beresford Arms. It's about 4 blocks from Union Station. Breakfast is included and is fruit, muffins and danishes and every afternoon they have cheese and wine so you can mingle with other travelers. Highly recommend.

A really nice hotel at a very central spot. Clean and comfortable. There is a cost of ~ $30 per night for parking. The soundproof is poor if you get a room on the road side. Unfortunately we were greeted by the rudest receptionist ever, Vincent. Not welcoming, not helpful and angry. The other receptionists were very polite.

The hotel is very near to Union Square with plenty of restaurants (Asian, American, Italian, etc) around it. It is a 106 yrs old hotel which is well-maintained and I find it charming. It provides free wine and tea party everyday from 4pm to 5:30pm on top of its free breakfast. The room I stayed didn't have air-conditioning, and a...

I first discovered The Beresford Arms a little over a year ago. As per my previous experience, the room was large by San Francisco standards and good value compared to properties a little 'further up the hill' . Last time the room was a little noisy but brigh with a street view. This time I was given a room right...

It may not be the cheapest, but for a place that is walking distance to Union Square, and the multitude of shops and attractions, it is a fantastic place. The rooms are generous, cleanlines and services are excellent as is the included morning breakfast. The reception staff for arrival and departure couldn't have been more helpful. My next visit to...

Location was 10 minute walk from Union Square which was very handy. Area was not great at night but apart from that location was perfect. The room was huge. We had a wheelchair friendly room which was spotless and serviced daily. Continental breakfast of melon and pastries kept us going for a couple of hours and the wine and cheese...
