Was in San Fran for a week on vacation and stayed at the Axiom. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for two issues I have with the hotel. It is a nice hotel, cool vibe and the staff was very friendly. I had two issues with my stay here. First, there is no restaurant or coffee shop on site. They are both closed and they need to update their amenities section on all sites, NO RESTAURANT AND NO ROOM SERVICE. I travel a lot and typically stay at a place with a restaurant or some sort of food vendor for late nights when places are closed, or if I want to just relax and have a drink at the end of the night. Part of the reason I booked this place. Second, something had happened at the hotel and we had NO hot water for two days. No one from the hotel let anyone know. Had to find out by taking a shower and not getting any hot water. NOT FUN! No compensation, apology for the inconvenience, or even mention of it came from any of the employees that worked here. All in all I don't know if I would go back, but it didn't ruin my vacation.…
What a wonderful hotel, Location ideal for getting all around city. Staff very courteous & efficient. Love the modern feel of the hotel. Love the hydration stations on each floor and the robot delivery service!
Horrendous service, AC doesn't work so I wasn't able to sleep, called the front desk and they say Engineering team starts at 7:30am. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. It's also super noisy, very bad soundproofing, I hear loud thumps every time the guest above me walks, not to mention all the noises from the street. This has to be the worst hotel I ever stayed at.
This hotel is really cool: it looks all new and clean and I like the modern decoration. I thought the room was a good size for San Francisco and the bathroom was beautiful. The location is convenient and service was great. The only downside for me is that the mattress was too soft and not the most comfortable. But overall my stay was really nice and I'd be happy to go back.
Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly front desk and valet personnel. Lovely, clean room and hotel. Security a plus. Convenient to restaurants, public transportation. Room was serviced and freshened whenever we were away and nice to come back to a clean, tidy room. We stayed five days and would definitely recommend to others and would stay again when returning to San Francisco.
Great location and room is very nice, but the front desk staff has zero customer service skills. My reservation was mixed up in their system and upon arrival I had to wait an hour to get checked in, instead of them calling Booking.com to clear it up they made me call and of course then Booking called the hotel. So I got to stand at the desk on the phone with the website, while the hotel entered my reservation and charged my card. After I thought everything was taken care of, I received a call the day before my departure date saying I missed check out and asking if I would like to extend my stay. I said you have to be kidding and reminded them of the mix up at checkin and they need to clear it up, at which point the employee threatened to call security. I went downstairs to again show them my confirmation and let the guy know how unprofessional this is and how it is clearly their error and they need to get their s*** together. He again threatened to call security because I used a bad word. I threatened to call the cops because they are threatening to remove me from a room I have paid for. While I did receive a call and an apology from someone in management, it added a lot of unnecessary stress that could have easily been avoided if they just took my confirmation information from me at checkin and sorted out the mixup with the booking website. Horrible experience at what could have otherwise been a wonderful hotel ☹️…
Really good value for money, would stay again for sure. Great location, big rooms and good service. Staff was very helfpful and available 24hs. We enjoyes our room a lot, we were surprised by the amazing robes and the coffee machine. I appreciated the environmentally conscious approach the hotel has.
Easy to get to from the airport (ride the BART to Powell Street and it’s 50 feet from the station), the room was spacious and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. We had two queen beds and both were comfortable. Location right beside the trolly stop, Westfield mall and many food places.
I rented Hubs 1 and 2 for some focus groups my team had to facilitate and the Axiom team was thorough, accommodating, flexible and easily accessible during our sessions. Highly recommend their space for any of our meeting needs!
First time staying @ Axiom, definitely not my last! You couldn't ask for a better location. Steps to all major forms of transportation, Cable car's, Bart, & subway. Steps to your favourite shopping & the best restaurants. Besides the staff being very helpful and friendly, I felt very safe and secure during my 3 night stay. The in-room amenities and amenities around the hotel were unexpected and the high point of my stay. Thank you for the relaxing & enjoyable experience. Mike Quigley
