I stayed here while attending an international conference at the Moscone Center. I was upgraded on arrival and offered free wifi which was handy. The hotel is just round the corner of the conference centre and suited me very well. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a bit pricy. The concierge was very helpful every time I had...

Do not stay here if you have a choice. They try to up sell you rooms at check in, which is pretty tacky. The views are lousy no matter which side of the hotel you are staying in. The windows are not sound proof. So you hear traffic noise and police sirens all night long. The restaurant is over priced....

I visited this hotel in hopes of accomplishing my 30 destinations by the time I turn 30 (which is this year). Mika at the Ambassador desk is absolutely brilliant. Once she found out the nature of my travel, she extend her assistance, and recommendations to help me accomplish my travel goals. I will definitely be back to visit this property.

After checking in and requesting a king bed instead of 2 twin beds, I was slightly frustrated that there would be an additional charge for this. This makes no sense...surely it would be the same price if not cheaper as you need less time and sheets to make 1 bed instead of 2! Despite that the room was large. The...

The hotel is ideally located on Howard Street and is convenient for the Moscone Center and the shopping district. The hotel is bright and modern with well equipped rooms. The gym and pool are on the 6th floor and the best views are from the upper floors

I was in town for a conference durung a rare California rainy week. It was quite windy & rainy & the door men were so nice and had extra umbrellas (I had my own). My king room was a corner with floor to ceiling windows (including the bathroom) on a high floor. The view was very good - mostly city...

Not a good surprise. I arrived from a 12 hours flight at 2.30 pm and the reception told me that the room will only be available at 4 pm - unless I accept a lower quality room at same rate... Long discussions necessary to get a similar room at same rate.. and when I reached my room at 3 pm...

I should know better by now, Hilton or Intercontinental hotels are run without a soul or heart, a simple profit center. Completely free of "hospitality" . Run down rooms- smelly carpets- water is dripping in the shower....what a bad experience. Only when you become a member of their program the internet is free.

Attended a conference right near the hotel, very convenient. Had an issue at check in which was resolved quickly. Very nice room with a great view, got extended check out and all the hotel employees are very professional.

During my stay in San Francisco I was at three hotels, I upgraded my room but was not given the greatest view but the room was clean and bed was comfy. The negative part of my stay was upon my return to the hotel, a female security guard stopped me and asked me to show her my room key to...

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
