This quiet hotel in a terrific part of SF was very comfortable, clean and knew how to deliver on customer service. When my room key didn’t work they were quick to respond and even gave us a breakfast credit. Everyone was always so nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!
We stayed at The Orchard Garden Hotel for 3 nights and were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is located in a good central area close to a lot of attractions (Union Square, cable car,... ). It is just a little more challenging to find a restaurant nearby to dine in the evening. The room was very good and very clean. The bed was good, a big TV and also a big bathroom. The hotel offers free water available on the 7th floor. We also enjoyed a nice breakfast every morning. Lilly, the breakfast employee was very friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in San Francisco!
I spent one night in the hotel because i was there for a quick trip. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel, the helpfulness of the staff, and the location. I would stay there again-- no hesitation at all.
Great experience from the beginning. My daughter and I arrived early. There was no room ready yet, so Steve stored our carryon bags and told us to check back around 1 pm. We had reserved a double/double standard. When we returned at 1 pm, Steve informed us the room was not ready, but there was an upgraded view room available for us at no extra charge. Great. Room was clean, stocked nicely with towels and essentials. Bathroom was very clean. Beds were very comfortable with soft blankets. View out the window to Bush St. We could not be more pleased. Steve and the rest of staff very friendly. I appreciated that Steve sent me a text to check on us and see how our stay was going. fit was a 25 min walk to the Oracle stadium. Close to transit options. Area felt safe. I would definitely come back to this hotel.…
My girlfriend and I visited San Francisco this past week. Our original plan was to save money and book a hotel near the SFO airport. After careful consideration, the desire to stay in the city instead, and reading countless reviews on lower-cost hotels, THE ORCHARD GARDEN seemed to be the obvious choice. The reviews for this hotel were consistently 5-star. And, I must say, this was an exceptional hotel and overnight stay for us. We arrived around 4 pm and were able to park in the white zone in front of the hotel and unload, check in, and get our luggage upstairs (8th-floor room) before needing to move our vehicle. The hotel was offering parking discounts on and off during Covid, but when we arrived were told that is no longer the case. They offer you a list of places to park, but I would recommend the Sutter-Stockton garage for about $44 a night (about half that price if you park after 6 pm). The garage is across the street from the hotel, however being that it's a one-way street, you have to drive around the block to come in from the back. It's a bit of a pain, but at least the walk from the garage to the hotel is about a minute. The hotel room itself is small but sufficient. We had a king bed. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was amazingly comfortable None of the city noise kept us awake. There was a small box of really delicious chocolates that welcomed us, which I thought was a nice added touch. The hotel offers filling stations on the 1st and 7th floors that allow you to fill up a carafe and have water available to you. We knew in advance from reading reviews that breakfast at this hotel was way too expensive. Though convenient, we avoided it altogether. There are two Starbucks within a 1-minute walking distance from the hotel if you want coffee and a quick bite. We didn't investigate any breakfast eateries beyond that but I would recommend if you want to save some money, find out what is in the area prior to your stay. The hotel does demand you wear a mask while inside. This is as of August 2022. The staff was very friendly. When we were loading our vehicle with luggage after our stay, one of the staff members came out and helped us. That kind of effort shows how customer-orientated this hotel is. The hotel is in a nice area, directly next to the Chinatown gate. A cable Car to Fisherman's Wharf is about 2 blocks up the hill from the hotel. If you take a cab it costs under $20 with a tip. The hotel is in a centralized and safe area. We felt safe walking the surrounding streets. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!…
Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Situated right in the Harare of San Francisco near Union Square and Gateway to Chinatown. Spacious and clean with good facilities. Highly recommended. Close to any transport to get you through the city
Highly recommend - extremely clean, excellent and kind service, comfy bed and huge bathroom. Quiet and convenient to our cruise port. Would definitely stay again. Also in a safe section of town with excellent restaurants close by. Five stars
We stayed overnight at this hotel SF Marathon weekend (July 23-24, 2022). This was my first time staying at this hotel and had a lovely experience. From the excellent customer service received by the front desk staff to the clean and well-appointed hotel room. In previous overnight stays at other hotels, we can hear the city noise all through the night but not here. We were able to get a good night's rest on the eve of our marathon. Highly recommend this hotel and look forward staying here again in the future.
Very happy with this wonderful boutique hotel, in a central location, we had breakfast every morning in the hotel, and it was tasty, and plentiful. Our room was spacious, quiet and immaculate. Distilled water was available, which we used with the coffee machine, in the room. And did I mention the comfort of the bed? I wanted to bring the mattress and duvet with me back to my home (but sadly, it wouldn't fit in my luggage).
We stayed at the Orchard Garden Hotel over the weekend and it was perfect! We were in SF for a family reunion and had a block of about 10 rooms. There were nothing but rave reviews about the hotel from every one of us. Comfy beds, with nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Plus it's a great location -- easy walking distance from Union Square, Chinatown and North Beach (the Italian neighborhood). Would highly recommend this hotel.
